The estimate I received was very detailed and there were no hidden charges. As promised, the old roof was tore off and the new one added within the same day. The team of workers were very professional and even more important very clean. They did an excellent job of protecting my home, windows, flowers etc... They also flashed the masonry chimney and it looks great. Overall, I would recommend Bald Eagle to anyone.

They were there when they said they'd be. Then removed and replaced the roof of our single family house. I chose Bald Eagle for their ratings and quote that came in quite a bit less than then the other 2.

I received an estimate. Out of the 5 estimates I received it was the lowest. I decided not to get the work done by Bald Eagle.

Kevin very quickly provided an estimate for this work. He was professional and attentive to detail. Project not done simply due to time-of-year.

Driveway was replaced with a process like no other contractor - they went above and beyond what the village inspector recommended.

While I grade this as a "C", I would hope that the average contractor would do better. I did not hire by price, since Bald Eagle was one of the more expensive bids, so this should not be interpreted as you get what you pay for. Pros: 1. Punctual. 2. Polite. Cons: 1. I live in Oak park and the concrete arrived from Joliet. Thus, it was not "fresh" by the time it arrived and water had to be added, which is the last thing you want to do. With so many concrete yards near Oak Park, I cannot understand why Joliet was the source. I hope the concrete stands up over time but it was not poured under optimal conditions. 2. I wanted and they said they would provide a smooth finish on the garage floor. The finish is anything but smooth. 3. They left a mess. They dumped waste water on our roses, deposited a thick slurry in the street gutter which I had to shovel out, left concrete spatters and even a concrete handprint on our garage walls, and concrete "droppings" all over the driveway.

Our experience with Bald Eagle was very good, and we're receiving lots of compliments on our new concrete. The company is very professional. Our project didn't go exactly as planned because the driveway/patio and front stairs/walkway were supposed to have been done separately as both my mother and I have physical disabilities and need railings/flat, even surfaces to be able to get in and out of our house safely. By some mistake, the back and front were torn up at the same time. But the workers went out of their way to provide a safe, temporary walkway in the back and offered assistance as well. We are very pleased with our new driveway, patio, walkway, and stairs. We would definitely recommend Bald Eagle Construction and would use them again.

Working with Bald Eagle Construction is always a pleasure. They replaced the roof on my home in 2008. When I decided to replace the driveway, there wasn't any question as to who I would hire to do the job. I know the company stands behind their work. Kevin is wonderful to work with. He is always very professional, courteous, and very patient. I am not very knowledgeable about concrete and he always had time to answer all of my questions. Kevin and his crew were always on time and they finished the job in a timely manner working around my scheduled vacation. The whole job was completed within 5 days which includes 2 days waiting for 2 different village inspections. I have an older home so I have hired contractors for various jobs around this house. I must admit this one was painless! There wasn't one hiccup from start to finish. I will definitely hire them again.

It went great. They broke up existing concrete, excavated and prepared the following areas for new concrete: 1) rear steps, 2) 26'6" feet of walkway on the side of the house, and 3) 10'6" feet of walkway in the back of the house. They pitched the concrete, put in expansion, and control joints where needed. The job lasted about 3 days. Arturo and his gang did a great job. They were very punctual, answered any questions, we had. Very professional. They cleaned up everything. The work looks great. I've already gotten compliments.

Bottom Line: the work was done in an excellent manner. Professionally. And as agreed. The only real difficulty (time delays) came with getting the appropriate permits from the local township and the county. It was a time-consuming process that I ended up getting involved in myself. This was something I was willing to do as the project was important to me. It would have been nice to have the Construction company handle all of it. However, it became clear that the time commitment on their part (as attempts were made to get the needed approvals) was becoming substantial. I made the time to get the necessary permits myself. All worked out in the end. I learned a lot during the process. Bald Eagle Construction stuck with us and did what they could to keep the project on track, even with some revisions along the way. Yes, the price was significant. So was the work. So... it makes sense! Anything Worth something does Cost something. I recommend Kevin and his company Bald Eagle Construction. I had found this contractor through Angie's List and I'm very glad I did. I was originally going to give two "B" grades for price and punctuality. These grades were meant as truly "Good" comments. However, I have learned that I look for all "Excellent" grades to consider a company. Sometimes this is not a fully accurate reflection of the service rendered. To be fair, the delays were not Bald Eagle Construction's fault. So I removed the punctuality grade "B" and changed it to an "A." The price was "Good." Hence, the "B" grade. However, to repeat: if one wants a quality job (such as this one), the price may not be (and, hopefully, will not be) the main deciding factor. One final comment: communication is key during a project such as this. The emails between myself and the contractor proved to be very valuable in navigating the entire process. Overall: Great job!! And yes, i would not only recommend them, but I would retain their services again.

Everything went great. The work took only two days to complete. The crew was prompt, through and courteous. There were no issues whatsoever.

We arre very pleased with the outcome of the concrete work. I felt the price was right and Kevin even reminded my of a discount to which I was entitled. His crew was very professional, particularly the crew chief. Based on my experience with this company, I would highly recommend Bald Eagle Construction.

Everything went well, they were very responsive, provided a thorough estimate/proposal for the work to be done. Their estimate came in right in the middle between two others, but they were all within a hundred bucks of one another. Price total ended up being high because I had a significant amount of decking to be replaced. They came in at date given, and did the work all in one day. I was unfortunately unable to make it on-site that day, but came the next day, everything looked clean, job was done, decking was replaced. So all in all, I thought they did a great job and it was a good and easy experience to work with them, frustration free.

Kevin Wood was able to have an estimate to me within days, and since the work needed was very urgent, was also able to rearrange prior scheduled work so that he can get a crew out to the house quickly. The crew was very curious and worked diligently to get the job done in a timely manner. They were able to compete the job on this single family home within one day. Can't say enough great things about the owner and his crew. Top notch, I would absolutely recommend Bald Eagle Construction to anyone looking for a roofer in Chicago.
