I've been using the hair stylist for about 10 years and I like her a lot. It is nice, clean and convenient. Their prices are in-line.

Carla has given me a few brow waxes and they are always excellent. However, she's almost always late and it's almost always been after I've sat and watched/listened to her socialize with other people for a long time, which is very frustrating. The pedicure I had there was good, but overpriced. They didn't do that much more than the places that are significantly cheaper.

I've gone to a Matter of Style several times for manicures and/or pedicures because they have had appointments open and they are conveniently located. However, I think their services are overpriced -- they are spa prices for what is not a spa experience. The nail staff seem to be hit-or-miss, sometimes you get very good service, sometimes not. There seems to be a lot of turnover. The desk staff can be unfriendly.

I have gotten highlights, cuts and blow dries from Rita for years. Doing highlights, she takes a small amount of hair at a time so that they look natural. If I ask her to, she can blow dry my thick wavy hair flat and straight. Not an easy job. Her cuts are also good.

VERY PRICEY, SO I HAVE CHANGED TO ANOTHER SALON. I ALWAYS GET COMPLIMENTS ON MY HAIR WHEN I DO GO TO THIS SALON.
