Description of Work: My daughter has dark brown hair - asked for a caramel color ombre. Was bright orange. Owner/ colorist got angry at US and insisted that was the color she chose. When I asked her to show me the swatches she became very defensive and rude. I have always been taught in my own work "the customer is always right" She made no attempt or offer to rectify the situation. She had my 17 year old in tears.

+ 0 moreCarla has given me a few brow waxes and they are always excellent. However, she's almost always late and it's almost always been after I've sat and watched/listened to her socialize with other people for a long time, which is very frustrating. The pedicure I had there was good, but overpriced. They didn't do that much more than the places that are significantly cheaper.

+ -1 moreI've gone to a Matter of Style several times for manicures and/or pedicures because they have had appointments open and they are conveniently located. However, I think their services are overpriced -- they are spa prices for what is not a spa experience. The nail staff seem to be hit-or-miss, sometimes you get very good service, sometimes not. There seems to be a lot of turnover. The desk staff can be unfriendly.

+ -1 moreI have gotten highlights, cuts and blow dries from Rita for years. Doing highlights, she takes a small amount of hair at a time so that they look natural. If I ask her to, she can blow dry my thick wavy hair flat and straight. Not an easy job. Her cuts are also good.
