After inspecting the interior of the roof, and noting the raccoon was not present, the entryway was secured and the raccoon never showed up again!

Contacted the company because we seen a raccoon in the attic. They gave
me a quote of $175 if they arrived and could just grab the raccoon. When
they arrived the raccoon was not in the attic. they did see the signs
of it being up there but it never did nest. they did find its first kill
though. a dead grey squirrel. they removed the dead squirrel, sealed
the entry as well as they could with chicken wire and gave us some tips
for deterring it from returning. its been a month and it has not
returned after being up there every night for four nights. They charged
me the $60 fee for coming out to give an estimate. very happy with their
professionalism and all they did.
