FILCO HEATING & COOLING

Filco is fabulous!!! Quick and excellent service! My heat went out in the middle of the night. When I called Filco, spoke to Mary. What a lovely person. She was able to arrange to have someone come that afternoon. Mark was the technician. Wow......he was so professional, knowledgeable, and had my furnace fixed in no time. Quality work and trustworthy. Very fair service charge! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Filco Heating!!!!

I woke up early one morning to a furnace that was blowing cold air. Tom at Filco came out that morning and cleaned the furnace and made some adjustments. All worked fine -- until later that day. The furnace began acting up again. So I called again the next morning, March 5, day of the big snowfall. Mark came out and tested the gas pressure. As it turns out, the gas pressure was too low and probably always had been. Mark increased the gas pressure and all seems to be fine now.
I've used Filco a couple of times previously and have always been satisfied with their work, as well as with their honesty. They don't try to sell unnecessary services.

I was very pleased that I had called Filco to fix my furnace. I was worried about being charged for unnecessary parts that would be costly, especially with Christmas coming up. Mark quickly realized I did not need any new parts and just a cleaning was sufficient to get my furnace working again. He did a thorough job and answered all of my questions in a friendly and professional manner. I would highly recommend this company for anyone needing service for heating or cooling.

My 10,000 Btu, in-the-wall AC went out on the hottest day of the year. I called Filco and at first they said I would have to wait because they were swamped with calls. I told them I was having work done in my house and the dog, the workers, and I could not survive that long. The very nice lady said she would get someone there the next day at 10:00 A.M. At 10:00 A.M. the next day he came and saved our lives. I will always call Filco.

In our most recent hot week the ceiling mounted unit started leaking water into the corridor. I called Filco and they scheduled a visit immediately (they actually squeezed me into 2 clients). John came, took a look at it, realized the unit was low on Freon and that was the way to let me know (ouch), so he filled it up and that was the end of it. Of course now I know I have a leak in the Freon line but like John said, it lasted 5 years (since it was installed) so it has to be really, really tiny and not worth the repair. I like that attitude.

I really don't remember what part they had to replace but they did have to order it and it was the next day before it came in. They were at the house first thing to get it up and working. I was happy with the job they did.

VERY ATTENTIVE AND RESPONSIVE, THEY DID NOT MIND FIXING THE AWKWARD ACCESS DOOR TO FIT THE UNIT, THEY ALSO PUT ALL THEIR EFFORT INTO NOT STAINING OR DAMAGING MY BRAND NEW FLOORS AND WALLS. THEY WERE ON TIME AND LEFT ON TIME.

THEIR SUGGESTION: ''FIX IT''. THEY ALSO GAVE AN ESTIMATE FOR THE REPLACEMENT. IT WAS THE LOWEST I HAD HEARD OF, BUT THEY STILL INSISTED I WAS BETTER OFF FIXING THE SYSTEM. I DID FIX IT AND COULD NOT BE HAPPIER!!!
