Roofing, Framing Service
Terrible. The workmanship was awful-- 1) the supports for the dormer were not workmanlike and were not adequate to support the weight of the dormer; 2) the two windows were not screwed in, so they could literally fall out; 3) there were large gaps around the two windows that were not caulked so rain and water would leak in; 4) there was a large gap on the side of the dormer where it met the pitched roof; 5) the flashing under the roof did not go up to the edge of the roof; 6) none of the debris was removed. When these problems were pointed out, Alex Torres, owner of AE&A General Contractors stated that they were not problems and that if he was not paid in full immediately, he would notify the bank with a mortgage on the property. The total price of $10,500 for only the materials was excessive.
