60 year old garage door glass broke. Called A Home and gave them approx. size over phone and they knew right away what glass was needed. They are very busy so the first date available was over 2 weeks later. They gave an estimate over the phone of approx. $140-$145. Repair guy arrived on time and did a great job. Final cost was within est at $142. Happy with the work. Glass is not an easy install by yourself. I'd recommend them to anyone.

I contacted them to get an estimate for replacing a double pane low gas glass for a window that was broken by a neighbors kid. The work was timely. They were very attentive. within a week the measurements were taken and glass ordered and they came out and replaced it.
I was pleased with the results and would use them again. Hopefully not for

Went well with everyone very professional, polite and accommodating. Delivery and installation were done with no issues. The price for the glass top seemed reasonable but I thought the cost of delivery and set-up was high. On the other hand I have no idea what normal delivery costs for this type of service might be. Overall I would us them again but I would probably check delivery costs elsewhere to see if I'm in the ballpark.

Got measurements for windows to be replaced. Removed patio screen to take with to replace screen. In approximately 2 weeks the glass was in and I received a call to install the glass which was done the next week Due to the number of windows it took most of one day to install. Everything went smoothly. They were very accommodating and made follow up calls to remind me when my install was scheduled.

Installer was prompt and courteous. The installation which required disassembling the wooden window frame to install the new double pane glass and reassembling the frame, went perfectly and was completed within an hour.

It was very hard to find a company with materials from a window from the early 1980s. Debbie(TAW) was very helpful, personable, and pleasant on the telephone and in person. She also took the time to educate my husband and I on the pros & cons on the Plexiglass and Glass. We purchased two Obscure Jalousie Glass and three Clear DS Plexiglass for the glass block windows.

I ordered ( 4 ) pices of glass for a metal shelving unit. I ordered these through Deb Weichinger, who was very helpful.
There was a 2 day turnaround which I thought was great. The price was very reasonable.
I picked up the glass and was able to meet Deb. She's very friendly and extremely professional.

Showed me all my options and the pros and cons on all of them. I never knew all the types of screens that they had to offer. I have a cat and they have a screen that’s pet proofed, so that their claws won’t rip the screen!! They are always on time, professional, and the prices were fair.

One of my best experiences with a home repair vendor. Deb at AHSG was always very responsive, they came out and measured the window, gave me options on the glass, placed the order, and came out to do the installation. This repair was made in a tenant's unit in the building, and Deb at AHSG took care of all the coordination with the tenant for when AHSG could get interior access to the window both for measuring and installation. So nice to be able to count on someone else for that sort of coordination!

I never experienced this level of customer service from any home repair service company. THIS WAS THE BEST EXPERIENCE I HAD WITH SOMEONE PROVIDING SERVICE FOR MY HOME!
The lady that took the call to setup the estimate and the follow-up repair visit was professional and provided a general estimate on the first call. She also followed up the day before to confirm both appointments.
They showed up on time (to the minute) for both the estimate and the follow-up visit to complete the repair.
They estimated the work would take about an hour. The work was completed on-time with no mess.
The window was replaced without scratching or causing any disruption to both the inside and outside frame.
They also sent out a thank you letter!
I would HIGHLY recommend this company for any type of window service.

I called for an estimate and was able to get someone out on Friday 10/19. He took a look at the skylight and gave us a quote within a half-hour of arriving.
We placed the order with A Home Service the next Monday, 10/22 and received a call that the glass was ready for installation on 10/30. We were able to get the installation completed by 11/1. The installer was on time, professional and quick.
We were very pleased and will definitely call them for all our window replacement needs.

This has to be the most competent company we've ever worked with. We looked up glass replacement companies on Angie first, finding that most of them install but do not repair windows. Then we got quotes and compared them. The Pella Company told me that the the pane could not be replaced without ordering the whole window frame - a tidy sum. Home Service said they had substantial experience replacing panes without damage to the window frame. After a bit more conversation, we selected them and set a date for the replacement.
They were very congenial when we asked them to reschedule to the next day because of expected rainstorms.
The installation went without a hitch as the installer removed the window from the inside, covered the opening to prevent flies from getting in, took the window out to his truck, and replaced the glass double pane. He set the pane back in place and sealed the window frame.
Now that the replacement is complete, there are no telltale signs that the window was worked on - it looks as good as new.
We highly recommend this company for any and all window work you may need done.
