It went very well. They gave it a whole new look. They were very professional and finished in a timely manner with high quality results.

They came out promptly and were well equipped for the work. Unfortunately they seemed totally focused on speed. In fact at one time they spent 8.5 minutes, from arrival to driving away, doing my lawn. That resulted in multiple lawn scalpings, mowing over lawn fixtures, and leaving the gate open, even after being asked not to do so, and allowing my dog to escape. They were just careless and sloppy. I called the office and was offered another crew but that didn't work much better. Sorry, but the neighbor kid does a much better job.

I've used them for probably ten years. I had them before I went to Angie's List.















If your grass is not grown like it sometimes does in the late fall you can skip and they said when they called other companies they said no skips, and if they do skip they charge. So your being charged for something your either not getting or don't want just for them to run the mower over your grass that has not grown and that's just 26, 27 bucks you might as well earn and College Students does not do that they do skip if you call and let them know.

We use College Students Landscaping, Inc.  We used them on a weekly basis.  This was the last week of the season.  They were okay when it come to cutting the grass.  What I didn't like about them is they never picked up the leaves and that is suppose to be part of the service.

Did not even come to see the damage I just got it wasn't us!!!!

I've continued their service for couple of years now because they are good. They are reliable and punctual.

It has been very good. I've used them for 6 or 7 years. They do a fine job. He takes a bunch of college students and starts them in the summer and works with them. Some of them stay on for 2 or 3 years. He tries to get the kids some money. They do a good job. They are fantastic. Randy is the owner. He comes out the first time and walks around to see what you want done. He may come back but it is usually the guys then. If I want something done, I can call him and he will get it fixed for me. I know what day they are coming but there is no set time.

All work was performed promptly and professionally. Particular attention was paid to proper sand base and weed cloth beneath brickwork. Went the extra distance to source red cedar versus the pressure treated timbers for the culvert.

They came out and did a wonderful job. They were great. I thought it was a fair price. The quality was great. They are going to come back because they didn't put the side down in a really hot weather because they know it's just going to burn up so they will be back and I also have more landscaping to be done and I'll give it to them.

For the most part they do a great job. Once in a while they may leave a walkway brick or flower bed trim out of place. They do a great job of mowing.

We had an awful time getting ahold of Randy, owner, when we had a problem. A piece of my son's swing set was on the ground, an they mowed right over it. Since we didn't know the pieces were there at all. My son went to play on his swing set, and ended up getting cuts, from those pieces. I called and called, but the owner would not take my calls. One of the workers told me about the poor service from Randy, and I was not the only customer that had complained. The reception said there is always an incident report filled out, and is a copy supposed to be left at the customers. Never happened. I fired them, and found an excellent lawn service.

Arrived on time. Dug out all old vinca and overgrown ground cover. Reset stone block trim and added new mulch. Quick, neat, and well worth having someone do this for us in the heat of the summer.

We like everything about them, they were efficient, and their prices were reasonable. We have referred them to two neighbors and a couple of family friends.

Ever since the service began this year I have received sub-standard service. I had to call several times to let the company know that a service was not completed. The thing that made me cancel my service was a large problem. I cancelled my service on June 21, 2010. I cancelled because, after my lawn had been cut, my son came to me with cuts on his legs that resulted from many large, jagged and hard pieces of plastic that came from our swing set. The part of the swing set where two children can swing at once, had a large, jagged hole in it. As I looked down it I saw many of those pieces of those jagged pieces. I was never notified by the company. I called and left messages for the owner RANDY, whom I have talked with before, to call but never received one. I also never received what was going to be done to rectify the situation. I didn't even receive a call of apology from this owner. Upon talking to the crew leader of employees who mowed my lawn, I found that I am not the only customer who has been treated poorly. He said the owner, Randy, was not returning customers phone calls and has been charging customers fees that, per the contract, are not to be charged. This man also stated that Randy has been doing an awful job all around. I was also told by this man that the office is on 143rd and Will-Cook Road in Orland Park, IL 60462. The only address I've recieved is the one above. Over all, I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone.

They are pretty responsive. It seems like they are fairly young people. They return my phone calls and are cordial. They seem to be conscientious of the work as well.
