"We would like to clarify the details regarding your experience with Premier. In October of 2005 we were recommended by your custom homebuilder to provide a landscape master plan for your new residence. We provided this service free of charge and you were pleased with the final product we presented. Unfortunately, the budget exceeded the amount you wanted to invest in the landscape and hardscape for the project. After working hard to come to terms on price, both parties mutually decided it wasn’t going to be a good fit and we parted ways amicably. You proceeded with your project hiring a local company to install the hardscape portion and a different company to install the landscape portion. The hardscape portion failed shortly after the installation. After this occurred you went back to the builder and he recommended that you hire Premier to repair the mistakes of the initial hardscape contractor that you hired in October of 2007. We provided you with two options to conduct the repairs, one that would require substantial investment, while providing a long-term solution to the poor workmanship and a second option that was a temporary fix. You decided to go with the second option. We performed these repairs and went our separate ways. To clarify, we did not install the original hardscape or landscape, but were the contractor you hired to repair and rebuild the poor quality work done by the previous contractor. Additionally had you chosen the first option to repair the hardscape you would have minimized your long-term maintenance needs. At Premier, quality work is extremely important to us and we go out of our way to ensure every job we design and install is done correctly. We are sorry that you associated the poor work on your hardscapes with Premier. We are definitely not the least expensive option for custom landscape design and installation/construction, but quality is at the center of everything we do. We’re very sorry you ultimately had a bad experience with the other contractor and the quality of their work, but that was not our work.
