I signed the least on Feb. 28th they were running a special to get the special I had to sign the lease in Feb. I was suppose to move in on the 2th and wasn't able to get in until the 10th they said apartment was not ready due to maintenance issues later I found out from a neighbor people were still living in it up til the 9th.. When moving in I had a lot of maintenance issues. With in the first month they fixed 5 or 6 of the issues and there was about 20 issues that needed fixed and they never got to the other issues. I kept trying to contact them and the corprated office and have not heard anything. I moved out of my apartment on May 31st. My grandmother fell and hurt herself outside of the apartment because the security light was out and it was dark outside. She tripped onto a step and she almost fell again when the EMT and I were trying to walk her into my apartment and the railing was loose. My grandmother tried to contact them to get her hospital bills covered and they never got back to her so she had submit a claim to their isurance company. At that point I informed them with a letter. They said that was my choice. They came to me with a contract to not have to pay anything to break my lease if my grandma would drop her claim. That is not my decision to make so when I got my final paper work they are trying to charge me $6,000.00. They said I did not clean my apartment, carpet stains that were caused by the maintenance men (they were suppose to clean), billed me for caulking and etc. I have tried to contact them and corporate several times and no one will return my phone calls.
