In 3 months, the work was still not done even after making a new deadline. The contractor could not figure out how to put in the stairs and was not up to date on codes for the state. We printed off the codes for her and still could not figure it out. She walked off the job with half the patio and stairs done and the retaining wall was only just started.

When I asked about the drain because I wasn't happy with the way it was done or looked I was told it would settle down after a while.  Well, tell that to my lawn mower blade which destroyed it when I was told I would be able to mow over it with no problem.  I recommended this company to my daughter and her husband as well as a close friend of mine and the both of them were not happy and very disappointed with the workmanship and professionalism.  My daughter is demanding some of her money back and quite honestly she deserves it.  I just spent an additional $1,200.00 to have her mess corrected in my daughters yard.  I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy.

The pavers obviously look better then what I had in before. However the pavers are all coming up and some were cut at a bad angle causing  a huge gap around part of a drain. I asked for a drain to be laid underneath my patio because I have had flooding problems and well she said I didn't need it because there was no water laying up against the house when it had rained. She did take the drain and labor off the bill after I mentioned it to her. The drain she laid in the backyard is terrible. There was a ditch dug deep enough for the drain to be laid properly however the drain is literally a few inches down- it is popping up out of the ground - it looks terrible. I messaged her and made her aware of the problems she said she was having personal issues and would contact me that weekend well she never contacted me. So moving forward I contacted her again and explained to her my problems and she stated that she told me she knew there would be issues/ I explained to her that it was more then a few things that needed to be buttoned up in her words. I explained to her that I will be out thousands come the spring to have the entire patio fixed- she insists that she can fix it in a few hours in the spring. The problem is that the entire the patio has issues and I understand if there are a few things but if you do the job right then there should not be so many issues. If there was a problem with the weather being an issue as she has stated then as a professional she should have come forward and said to me that she can not do a top notch job with the constant fluctuations of temperatures and that she would need to come back in the spring. She asked 50% up front which I paid in cash - then when she was not even done she asked for at least half of the remaining balance so she could pay her guys.Which I did as well in cash again- but here I am thinking this woman has no money to pay her "guys?" Her "guys" consisted of her and one man that is it. I think she took on a project that she probally under bid and was under staffed more making it shotting work in the end with a very disappointed customer who is going to be out double to have it fixed.
