Happy with it and so grateful we decided to install it. Hardwood flooring looks great and has great value for homeowners, too. The installers were very courteous and professional.

The crew of 3 arrived as scheduled and did a fantastic job installing my gorgeous new flooring. They worked quickly, efficiently and cleaned up the work areas when they were done. I will definitely hire them for future projects.

Their prices were competitive, and their materials were superior, and the individuals who worked on the job were professional, clean, courteous, and got the job done within one day.

sales could not give me a written estimate without making it a contract which is a little weird. Sales did not clearly notate our choice of base shoe on the contract in the area where the installer would clearly see it. They brought white instead of the correct wood grain. The installer did well when he showed up, he had to run to get the correct base shoe. However, because the name on the contract was mine with the business address. They sent a residential installer instead of a commercial installer. The salesperson did not note there was an existing tile floor under our carpet which could be seen at our floor length window. Suffice it to say I was at work on my two off days to solve their issues. Was very displeased and although the installer knew I was not happy no one has ever reached out to say sorry, but we learned to make sure we have our paperwork in order for the future or kiss my a** or anything. Again, the installer did all he could and performed well with what he was given.

Quick, cleaned up everything well and professional

Empire did an excellent job coming out and measuring the floors to make sure for the proper flooring to be placed in the house they were. They scheduled the appointment to install the floors. A representative called to affirm the appointment. The floors were installed by professionals in less than four hours cleaned up behind themselves it was a wonderful experience.

Very good salesman. He was not pushy and brought plenty of samples to look at. Workers were very polite and cleaned up thoroughly after.

I was very excited about hiring Empire Flooring. However, after I paid for the installation nearly two months ago. Dealing with them has become hell. Their priority was getting my money but doing their job was not. They first brought the wrong carpet. Cool, mistakes happen. Then the carpet was supposed to have been scheduled two weeks later. It was never placed on their calendar. Now it is scheduled for February 12th. I asked for confirmation emails concerning what I purchased and how much I have paid. They told me I owed them when my purchase was paid in full. Empire made excuses and would not provide the information...on a sliding scale, my rating is sliding downward. So the saga continues... More to follow... I am sure Empire will continue to disappoint me.

We had a lot of back and forth getting a Family room and kitchen done. We wanted hardwood in the family room and laminate in the kitchen. First installer (one young man) came to put laminate in kitchen and basically refused to do it because of a small low spot near refrigerator, couldn t or wouldn t do leveling compound or was just afraid of the job. After two hours on the phone with Chicago headquarters trying to just get a refund for the whole job, we decided to give them another chance. Three installers and 2 more hours on phone later we may finally get the kitchen done, but have to go with hardwoods to be sure of good install. Family room got done in 41/2 hours, great work and looks great. Biggest complaint, and why no 5 stars is there is just poor communication between people who make decisions and the crews they send out to do the work. Had to explain everything about the kitchen issues to each of the four crews that came out. Other biggest concern is the pay up front business model, customer has little leverage after a contract is signed even if the installers don t want to do the job. That leads to hours on the phone with HQ and a troubleshooter explaining that you signed a contract and the company will find a way to do this job, even if it kills you! In the end, lots of nice installers and local folks trying to get the job done, but many delays and upended days for us as customers. Be prepared if your install is not straight up easy .

Had carpet put outside, glue is not holding after second attempt, called corporate office (800 number ) was told it was too cold for glue to stick and they will try again in Spring. ,

Awful company! Will never work with them again!
