Original call went well. The gentleman was professional and nice - it was easy to schedule the original appt which was for a 2 hr window. A guy came out and he was fine. You don’t really know for awhile if an exterminator is effective. Two weeks after the original treatment, we started seeing ants in our master bathroom, which is BIZARRE as we’ve never seen an ant upstairs in six years at this house. In six years with a different exterminator, we had issues with ants once and it was quickly dealt with - and they were in the dining room. We found the appearance of ants (a lot of them) two weeks after our first treatment from rose and in our upstairs bathroom to be really strange. Whatever - not a big deal if they take care of the problem relatively quickly. Called to get a guy out and they gave me a specific time (9am) - it struck me as strange because I had been given a window of time the last time, and I probably should’ve confirmed whether it was a specific time or a window of time but I didn’t. When nobody showed up by 9:20, I had somewhere to be so I left - when I called rose to inquire, I was told that I had been given a window. Nope - wrong. Not a huge deal but just own it! The guy for whatever reason didn’t specify 9-11 - not a huge deal! I should’ve double checked on that too! But here I have a woman on the phone telling me that I’m wrong about what I was told on the phone just three days before. Totally unsympathetic to the issue (both the scheduling issue and the fact that ants miraculously appeared for the first time EVER upstairs at our house two weeks after we switched to her company. ZERO understanding. A simple “wow, that’s strange, we’ll have to get this taken care of - probably a coincidence but let’s work together to get a guy out as quickly as possible to get rid of the ANT INFESTATION in the place where you bathe and brush your teeth each day. Whatever. One of the more obnoxious phone calls I’ve ever experienced. Now nobody can come out for five more days - in the end, if they come out in the assigned window and get the job done and I have no more ants, I guess it’s fine. Can’t expect a pest control company to have master communicators on the other end of the phone. Stay tuned for an update on whether or not they take care of the ant problem that never existed until I switched to them.

I had high hopes that Rose's would be my go-to company for pest control, they were recommended by a friend I trust. I first contacted them through their website. When I didn't hear from them, I called them directly and set up an appointment. The gentleman who came out on a Saturday was great, examined the situation, gathered bug samples, but surprised me when he didn't treat immediately--he wanted to take the bugs back to his office to positively identify them. He told me there would be no charge until they came out and treated, and he said he'd call that Monday to let me know what the next steps would be for treatment. 2 weeks later when I still hadn't heard from him I called their office; the receptionist was very apologetic and told me she'd contact them and get back to me that next Monday. A $150 charge had also appeared on my credit card for the service they hadn't performed yet. Around this time I finally got a response for my initial inquiry through their website...so weeks later they were finally responding to that, incredibly slow. A week later when I still hadn't heard from the receptionist or the original guy I called and complained to a different receptionist who said I needed to talk to a different office. When I called that office, they finally scheduled someone to come out and spray. I decided I didn't want to pay monthly for their quarterly service if their customer service and scheduling was so spotty, so I called and cancelled at the beginning of July. Now just days after I cancelled I see a new charge for $70 has appeared on my credit card. I called again to cancel and ask for a refund, they'll hopefully reverse the charge without my having to call again. I'm not sure what's happening with their customer service department, but it seems very disorganized with nobody steering the ship. I would advise anyone dealing with them to pay only with check, once they have your credit card information charges will appear on your card from them regardless of what they've said to you about charges.

The $150 charge was for the service done on 06/27. The technicians notes for the service are the following, "Inspected attic, no grain source found, hung nuvan strip, as preventive measures. dusted wall voids around vents in bedroom where activity is. Treated house for ants, spiders and general pests .Swept webs off house. Perimeter barrier treatment for ants and general pests on exterior including up on trim for occasional invaders like silverfish and spiders. And box elders hatching around the house. Also placed granular bait in yard for elders and ants. client will call or pay on line, for payment." The Healthy Home Maintenance Program is a program that has your credit card on auto pay monthly. In error, the system may have charged your card before we were able to cancel your account out completely, so I apologize for that. I do see that your account has been cancelled, and there is a $0.00 balance. Please let me know if I can assist you in any way, Shalonda Cherry Care Center Manager"

After over a decade of excellent service, Rose Pest changed their billing process to electronic only. Unacceptable for us for many reasons. They lost a $400+ a year account because they would not bill as the client required.

We had over a decade of excellent service from Rich and before Peter with pest control on our home. We recently stopped doing business with Rose Pest because they refuse to mail the bill. This is not acceptable to us so, they lost $400+ in annual revenue due to how they manage billing. If you don't mind emailed invoices or time of service invoices, they do a good job.

I had a tenant complain about seeing mice in the basement. I had them come out to two other apartments as well. The technicians were great; they pointed out areas where holes needed to be sealed. They succeeded in getting rid of all the mice. I've used Rose many times and have always had a good experience.

I've been using this company for years. One of my tenants saw mice in their apartment. Rose Pest came out right away to treat the apartment and then came out two weeks later when another tenant saw mice in his apartment. The techs were very responsive and reassuring with my tenants. They pointed out areas that needed to be sealed to keep the mice from coming in. They also offer two follow up visits free within 30 days if we continue to see mice. I highly recommend them.

Miguel was a bit late for appointment due to previous job ruining longer than expected. Upon arrival, he was very knowledgeable, helpful and professional. Over about an hour, he treated inside with liquid spray and small amounts of gel in various locations throughout the interior. In that time, he also sprayed exterior and sprinkled ant bait around the perimeter. Overall I felt he did a very complete job, spent time addressing concerns with exposure to pets & family, and was very conscientious, including putting on shoe covers. He also noticed couple spiders which the same treatment was expected to eliminate, plus he knocked down a small wasp nest outside back door. I'm quite pleased with service - and we'll see in a couple weeks time whether the ants have been eradicated (30 day warrantee).

It was great. Miguel was the service technician. He provided a great explanation of all his work as he did it. He provided some nice tips and suggestions as well. He also explained the chemicals and sprays he would be using. He was also very friendly to my children. Note: They did not accept the coupon from this site, but the price was still very reasonable with a 30 day guarantee on services.
