ZENGELER CLEANERS INC

Had never used this provider before, but this was an $800 Ethan Allen duvet cover, so I didn't want to take any chances. Turned-out, they were in the process of moving their location from Dundee Blvd to Skokie Rd (just around the corner) and this was a bit of an issue: I dropped the piece off on June 12 and was told it would be ready June 22. I went there June 23 (I should have called first as it's a 20 minute ride from my work) to pick it up and, alas, it's not there. I was told, due to the move, they had to send it to another location and things were a bit backed-up. They would call me to tell me when I could pick it up. Some 2 weeks later, I had to call them back and was given the same story. Okay, I get it. Erica apologized profusely and, without my asking, removed the charges (it was supposed to be around $60 with a 25% off coupon I had given them initially. Still hadn't heard back so I called again today and was told they may have it, but the tag had fallen off. Fearing the worst (i.e. they lost it and my wife is going to kill me for using them), I again drove there but, thankfully, it was there and it was no charge. I've had cleaners mess-up before, but never has this business type offered to do the service for free as a result of a screw-up. There was a legitimate reason for what happened, the cover was cleaned correctly, so they get an "A" from me overall. They were very nice about it and apologized, so I would use them again.

The items were ready when promised, although I didn't pick them up until a few days after they were ready. I don't participate in it - but you can also open a and quot;house chargeand quot; and get billed monthly. I prefer to pay by credit card. Zengeler has a good reputation and have been around for a long time, with multiple locations

I've been using them for years. They are very good at getting rid of spots and I get my items back quickly.

The price is reasonable, but it could be better. They do a nice job. They are very prompt and they are beginning to use recycled materials, which I like.

I started using Zengeler after the local dry cleaner went out of business. We take our winter coats and scarves here to be cleaned once a year. They send out coupons periodically and we wait for the coupons to take our things in. I think their prices are comparable. We have used them for many years.

I have been bringing my high valued clothing to Zengelers. Lately items have been coming back to me wrinkled, causing me to be greatly inconvenienced. The last straw was when a "clean" blouse was returned to me with some sort of sticky substance on it that was not there before. There quality control has become extremely poor! Other friends have also experienced the same poor quality!

Excellent work! This is the only cleaner in the area, that we trust our expensive clothing to dry clean. They are expensive, but worth it.
