Wildman Dryer Vent Pro

I do not write many reviews. I felt I had to for this company. This gentleman called me and met me at my home the day after I called. He spent 2 hours cleaning the vent from my dryer which snaked up from a second floor laundry room into the attic and then turned horizontally to the back. He also opened up my dryer and removed lint from the inside where I hadn't realized it had been trapped. Total cost was $175. Very much worth it! I would hire again without hesitation.

They did a great job and have cleaned our dryer vent several times since then. I would definitely recommend them as well.

Jan Wildman is awesome! He is an expert at what he does but also has a wealth of information on home maintenance in general. He gave me some great advice and tips, not only with regards to using the washer and dryer but also in various other areas of the home. He is very generous in sharing his vast knowledge and expertise. Having just moved into the home, I appreciated all the advice I could get! Jan did a thorough job on cleaning the dryer vent. There was an internal pest guard behind the exhaust vent cover which was clogged with lint, thus causing the blockage and restricting the airflow. The vent cover, dryer duct, the dryer chute and the surrounding areas were all cleaned. He also cleared all the lint that came out onto the lawn and patio area. The dryer’s ‘Check Vent’ light is no longer illuminated and the dryer seems to be working much more efficiently. I couldn’t be more pleased with my decision to select Wildman Dryer Vent Pro. Jan is an honest, trustworthy professional who genuinely cares about his clients and provides a five-star service. Being new to the area, he even wrote down some great restaurants to try and recommended some local places to visit too. He exceeded all my expectations and I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone in need of a dryer vent pro.

Solidly, from start to finish

I found Jan here and requested a quote via his website. He phoned me a couple of days later with a price that included a 10% Angie's List discount, which I thought was reasonable. Two days later, he was at my home, where he did a fantastic job of clearing all the hair and junk out of my dryer vent. He showed me what to look for outside and how to keep that area clear, gave me tips on keeping the dryer vent clean moving forward, and even pointed out a few things to extend the life of my washing machine (even though he wasn't there to service the machine - it runs fine). He's punctual, professional and personable and I enjoyed talking with him while he was working. My dryer now dries in less than half the time it took before it was serviced (guess I was overdue!). There's no question that I will hire him again the next time my dryer vent needs to be cleaned.

Bought a house. We couldn't figure out where it was venting to. Jan came out, cleaned it out (said there was a birds nest in there), and fixed the connections. After that, we could clearly see where it was venting out to, as the flaps outside were moving as the dryer turned on/off.

I don't hand our recommendations easily, but I HIGHLY recommend Jan from Wildman Dryer Vent Pro. A total professional who takes great pride in his work, he did a thorough job of cleaning our dryer vent, which probably never was cleaned. It wasn't an easy task, as the distance from the dryer to the outside vent is at least 20 feet with a few bends. He also cleaned inside the dryer and not sure what he did, but he fixed the scraping sound the dryer repair guy couldn't get rid of! Clothes dry in way less time, the dryer is quiet and we sleep soundly knowing our vent isn't clogged with lint. He also offered some great tips, which I really appreciated. Thanks, Jan!

Jan is a great guy. This was for a rather tricky dryer vent cleaning that another company said they can't do. Not only did he go through the work as he was doing it (enough that I can open my own business), he also talked to me about some of the plumbing work that he saw could have been done better. Did a great job, cleaned everything up, showed me the burnt lint that others have missed. All in all, he was fantastic, and charged me less than the competition.

Great! Jon was fantastic. He was right on time and had his booties to protect my floor, He assessed the situation then bought in all his materials. He gave me pointers on the washer and dryer and even realigned the washing machine, He was very professional and had a great sense of humor. He will be my new annual cleaning person for my dryer.

Just great. This is the 2nd time hiring Wildman (once in another home I own - I hadn't personally met him for that task). Jan Wildman came out and was here for about an hour. He gave suggestions to help keep the dryer flow clear, such as washing the pull-out filter with hot water and detergent (as dryer sheets & fabric softener can add build-up). He also showed me an outside vent that I can vacuum to ensure our home decreases the dust in the furnace (as I had mention I would like the house vents cleaned at some point). It is clear that Mr. Wildman is enthusiastic about his trade and takes pride in a job well done. After the dryer vent clean, the clothes take 1`/2 the time to dry. I was very concerned about a fire hazard because our unit is 10 years old and I don't believe the dryer vent had ever been cleaned. I now have peace of mind!

This was my second time using this Company and it was great. I highly recommend them. He spent so much time with the dryer, even removing the front of the dryer to get the buildup out of the areas there. Great job!!

Punctual. Not only did he give the Angie's List discount, he knock off an additional $13 because in his words 'it was easier than I expected' I don't know many business that are that honest!

Very professional, courteous and does good quality work. Very reliable and does not take advantage of customers like some others might!!

Jan came on time wearing white shoe cover. He removed the laundry closet door carefully and used towels and wood pads to move the washer/dryer out of the tiny place without damaging the hardwood floor. He paid attention to every details to make sure the job was performed properly and explained what caused the leak and how to avoid it in the future. He also took off the front cover of the dryer and explained to me how it works and why we should clean the filter after each load. I was very impressed by his expertise and patience. I will say have been working with many contractors dealing with different issues of the problems we had over years, but Jan is the best I have ever seen. In the end, he climbed on the roof and carefully cleaned the vent/chimney. We will definitely do it with him next time.
