+ -1 moreThey were horrible. It was pricy and they were very rude. They thought that they were more important than the customer. I had a bad experience. They had horrible price and everything was horrible. The worst part was that they charged me $750 for one sitting and my kid was thirsty and they charged me $50 for one bottle of water. They are all about the money. Their office was fine.
Description of Work: I used The Nit Pickers for hair removal. The last time I used them was in July of this year.

+ -1 moreOn Easter Sunday, I found lice in my 9y/o daughter's hair. We used the stuff from the store. The lice were still alive. I called Nit Pickers. Steve called me back promptly. He was great. He set up an appointment for the next morning. He gave easy instructions on how to get rid of the lice in our home. We went to see Lanie and Lissa. They were wonderful. Lissa and Lanie were really nice. They treated us and gave us easy instructions to follow. We went there three times altogether.The salon is very clean. They were always prompt. They even took us early. It was well worth the money and the drive to get rid of the lice in a few days!
Description of Work: Nit Pickers got rid of our lice problem. They treated our hair to get rid of the lice. They gave us easy instructions on how to rid our home of these pests. They also taught us prevention.

+ -1 moreWe found out my son in 4th grade had lice 3 weeks ago, then we found out my 7th grader and I had it also. I had received a pamphlet from the doctor on how to handle it which was getting the products from the drugstore. After two weeks, two treatments, major stress, money and time, we still were not able to get rid of it. I started looking online and found some professional delousing (lice removal) services. I contacted The Nitpickers in Northbrook but our schedules didn't match and Steve recommended Jamie of Happy Hair. I am so thankful for the time he spent helping me deal with this problem, the referral and for contacting me on a Sunday! He went above and beyond the call of duty to help me out.
Description of Work: I left a message on Saturday about 4pm after finding their website. Steve called me back Sunday and although our schedules did not match he referred me to a reputable lice removal business and talked to me for 15 minutes about how best to handle lice eradication in the house.
