We needed to replace a 15 year old water heater, which required the washer and dryer to be moved out of the way. Since our laundry tub was 50 years old, we had them remove it and put in a new one. It was a messy job dealing with 50 year old plumbing and removing the heavy sink in addition to taking out the washer and dryer and then putting them back after installing the water heater. It took most of a day to accomplish. One of the new copper pipes had a leak (which appeared after they left), so Reliance sent a repair person out the next day (Saturday) to re-solder it. The price was in line with other estimates we received.

Walter and Frank came within the scheduled time window, worked efficiently and professionally. Explained the work needed. Digging several feet down in front of the house to access the pipe was strenuous, hard work, as was lugging the heavy power rodding unit down a steep, narrow stairway. They warranty their service, but I hope we won't need to have this work done again. If a major plumbing problem should arise, we'd call them again. Also, we appreciated the company calling to let us know approximately how soon they would be coming.

Haven't had any backup problems since. They came the same day, despite it not being an emergency and they were right on time. He did pressure me to have them do the job that day instead of simply giving me an estimate. The backup problem didn't appear to be an emergency, but he said it would keep backing up whenever I used the water, which I had for a day without a problem. I let him do the job that day, but I'm still skeptical it was truly an emergency. Also on the negative side, I'm still waiting a week later for the estimate on the other work.

It went very well! The crew showed up on time. They went to extra effort to locate the clean out where I requested it. They finished early. They filled the hole and compacted the dirt so that I didn't have a huge mound. The work was done on a proposal basis so I knew what it would cost. They were not the cheapest but the most responsive and of all the bids I received, were the only ones to promise to tamp the dirt back down.

They came out the same day that I called, and it was right in the middle of the cold snap.

Late on a Saturday night we noticed that sewage was backing up into the basement. Sunday a.m. I called and got hold of the owner, Alex. He explained that there would be an extra charge of $125 for coming out on a Sunday, and said he could have someone there within 90 minutes. About an hour later, Walter arrived. He rodded out the sewer line, cleared the obstruction and the problem was solved. He was very friendly, professional, thorough, and informative. Definitely a good experience.

They arrived on time and got the work done quickly. They were very responsive, and kept everything clean (and dry). The shower works GREAT! They also checked a few other things and told me what to watch for and where not to waste my money.

The workmen they sent out were helpful, reliable, and most of all, honest. I know they spent more time working on our place than we were billed.
