Staffed by off-duty fire-fighters, I have confidence that these crews know something about working on ladders and walking around on rooftops. A phone call before the end of every gutter clogging season (Spring and Fall) asks whether we want to be on the list for gutter cleaning that season. They will then service the home even if nobody is at home when they arrive. We have used this service for at least a decade probably longer, with consistently good results. On request, they will add small favors to their service at no charge, such as changing burned-out outdoor spotlight bulbs that require a ladder to access or placing a square of screen in your chimney to keep birds from nesting there. Our dog hates these guys, swarming all around the house with noisy leaf blowers, but he ll have to continue to put up with them and with the mailman.
