There were some initial glitches in scheduling and communication at the beginning, but probably less than with many contractors, who inevitably are trying to juggle multiple deadlines / surprises etc. with limited staff. Matt was very prompt in giving a detailed estimate very soon after I first called him.
Matt's work was first rate, everyone is highly complimentary of the finished product. He was extremely conscientious about making everything right.
One final very important thing: his prices are very reasonable given the quality of his work. I got preliminary estimates from other contractors on here who have received stellar reviews, and was really given a snow job in the sense they picked high numbers out of the air, because it was their busy season, with no backup for the estimate, hoping I suppose I was naïve and would take the hook.
Matt Ross, by contrast, was extremely ethical, professional, and detailed in his estimates.
