MACY'S

They were very professional. I request Georgio every time. He is hard working and very responsive to any carpet problems. He cleaned a 25 year old carpet and made it look like new. They do a pretreat and a steam clening.

With carpet cleaning, everything looks nice initially but when it dries it shows that some stains are not removed.  I was not really satisfied. 

On the morning of the promised cleaning I put my phone in my pocket at 0700, because Macy's was to call me when they were enroute to my home. I had received no calls by 1030 so I called their 708 number that is listed with the Northbrook company information. I explained to the female Macy's rep on the phone that I was waiting for a call from the technicians, but as yet I had not been notified as to when I could expect their arrival. She placed me on hold for 5 minutes. She returned to our call briefly and asked me my address at which time she placed me back on hold for 4 minutes. She then returned to tell me that I could expect them between 1 and 2 in the afternoon. I asked her why this was the case when I had been assured of a morning service time. She stated that it was not their policy to give exact times. She told me she would have the manager call me back which never happened so in my opinion they are not worried that I relocated my family with all of my furniture so they could clean the carpets. There is nothing worse than failing to follow through on a commitment.

Macy's is fabulous. They are very courteous and prompt. They explained everything that they were going to do in detail. They are great. The workers were very helpful and very neat.

I HAVE USED THEM 3 TIMES NOW. I CALLED AROUND TO THREE OTHER PLACES AND THEY WERE THE LEAST EXPENSIVE. ONE THING I LIKE ABOUT THEM, IS THAT THEY DON'T TRY TO GIVE YOU THE HARD SELL.
