Low Cost Movers were nothing but amazing. They have extremely professional movers who are knowledgeable, courteous, accommodating and most of all fast and efficient. Andrey, Rene and Julio were prompt on arrival, and they made the stress of moving nonexistent. They accessed the situation and got moving right away. My heavy furniture pieces and other miscellaneous items were handled with the upmost care. These men really went above and beyond, and I am so lucky to have found this moving company. By far the best I have ever hired. One other note that cannot be left out, was the fact that it was about 90 degrees on the day of the move and these gentlemen came and did their job seemingly unbothered by the heat. Nothing but quality and an all-around wonderful job. 10/10 would recommend to all my friends and family.

We hired Low Cost Movers for a move the week before Christmas as our elderly parents needed to be relocated into an assisted living community. We only had about a week to coordinate all this and Low Cost Movers were fantastic. They responded quickly with a fair quote, scheduled the move easily, and showed up on time with three super friendly and efficient movers. They were fast, careful and very helpful. I was dreading this move for many reasons, but it went off without a hitch. Highly recommend them!!

The BEST moving company out there! I know this because I started with a different one who failed to show up. A tip from a friend of a friend led me to call Low Cost Movers. I left a message and Austin quickly returned my call. Although he wasn't sure he had a crew available and knowing I was in dire straits, he reassured me he would find someone—even reach out to another company if he had to. Fortunately Austin was able to make it work, providing a truck and his own crew. Everything was communicated clearly—cost, timing, logistics. The crew understood the dynamics moving furniture out of a high rise, was quick, tidy, friendly—no problems or issues AT ALL which made a stressful day so much easier to deal with. Next time I move I am calling Low Cost Movers. They know what they are doing and made moving day so much easier.

Showed up before the agreed upon time, worked incredibly fast and efficiently, in short, professionally. Handled and solved elevator problems with the building management without my involvement. Nothing was destroyed, scratched, ripped (a first when it comes to my experience with other moving co. So yes, highly recommended!

Everything went phenomenally well and smoothly. They were right on time, very very fast and efficient, and very friendly too. My bed had an awkward construction - which they were kind enough to point out and then help me fix too during setup at my new apartment! There were a few bulkier items that were very annoying to hold due to their grip - but they barely even complained, and rather they were very polite and very efficient in how they moved even those annoying items. When we pulled up into our new building, there were unforseen difficulties including not having access to a ramp, nor having the freight elevator fully ready for us in time. Despite these challenges, Low Cost Movers was extremely efficient and accommodating/flexible, and I would recommend this moving company to anybody looking for an affordable, efficient move.

These movers are amazing!! My brother used them about 6 months ago and they were incredible. When I had to move I knew that they would do a great job and be reliable. I was right! It was the same 2 guys that helped my brother as well. They were funny, kind, and went out of their way to make sure everything was exactly how I wanted it. They are well worth the price and I couldn’t recommend them more. I will be using them next time I move for sure!

It went so well. I've used Low Cost Movers 3 times now and they just keep getting better and better. They take great care of your possessions and make sure not to break anything or let your cats out of the house. The office is very communicative and keeps you posted on the movers eta and even moved me during a heavy snow storm. They made sure to not get my carpets dirty and they came prepared for everything!!! I am so happy with their services and will recommend to everyone I know. Hopefully I wont be moving for a while but if I do, I know who I'm going to call....Low Cost Movers!!!

DO NOT USE THESE MOVERS!!! The 2 movers sent over arrived 2 hours late, which caused my elevator reservation times to be off and I was charged for this by my new building. One of the movers was taking his time and giving himself a tour of my apartment, he took pictures of my apartment because he thought it was "dope", and asked me how much I paid in rent for the place. This is the most absurd behavior I have experienced from a mover and is completely unprofessional. The 2 movers were continuing to openly argue with each other the entire 4.5 hours they took to move a minimal amount of items and one was using the "N" word left and right which is even more insanely unprofessional and made me extremely uncomfortable. The same mover was complaining to me about his previous tips he's received in the past and then complained to me about the length of the hallway in the first apartment from the elevator to the door (it's a straight hallway, it was not a big deal) which is also very unprofessional. The other mover didn't seem like he was doing any work at all as I constantly saw him standing around aimlessly by the doorway and the hallway. I put all of my clothes on rolling racks so you could easily roll the rack right onto the truck, they somehow made this a difficult task and all of my dresses and clothes were knocked off of the racks where some of my expensive dresses were rolled over and destroyed. Also, when asked to keep all of the boxes right side up, they did not listen and put a box on it's side that had oil in it and the oil spilled all over my expensive couch pillows. They almost forgotten my headboard and an end table by the elevator, which we frantically ran over to them to add to the truck. The truck was poorly packed where some of my beautiful artwork and glasses were destroyed during their carelessness. They were taking their sweet time during this entire process to the point where my boyfriend and myself began unpacking the truck for the movers, so I'm not exactly sure what I paid for at this point. By the end of this move, I did not feel like either of them deserved a tip, however I am accustomed to giving one and did so. As I walked away, I heard one of the movers yell "**** NO", which was just the cherry on top of the worst moving experience I have ever had. DO NOT USE THESE MOVERS.

Dennis and CJ were on-time professional and hard working. We talked about game plan and then they got to work implementing. They were careful with my items asking exactly where I want them.

It did not go well. This was one of the worst of my life.
We were quoted for a 2 hour move, no problem. Moving a 1 bedroom apartment, 3 miles down the road to another 1 bedroom apartment. Easy. There are 2 elevators in the building, 1 right outside of our apartment and the other down the hall next to the stairs.
After the movers got started my husband left to go turn in the keys to the apartment (Since the movers were already late and we told our realtor we would have them the keys) My husband received a call from them after he left claiming that the elevator was being used and they would have to wait. (We assumed this meant that it would be used briefly and they would get back to work- OR better yet, use the OTHER elevator)
It took them almost THREE hours to pack up our 1 bedroom apartment. We were charged for 4 hours, when we were told that morning that it would take them no longer than 2 hours.
We contacted our realtor who talked to the maintenance man for our building who said he used the elevator for a moment, but when he realized that there were movers he left the elevator alone and it was not in use the whole time the movers were there. They lied and charged us double for the move.
I have tried to contact the company since the incident and have heard no response to any of my attempts. I will NEVER use this company again and would not recommend it to anyone else.
Again I say, WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!

A Great Experience. After a nightmarish morning with another company that we fired after they arrived (see report on EZ Movers), we connected with Reuben and Brian from Low Cost Movers. They fit us in at the last minute, were exceptionally fast, pleasant, and polite. Their estimate was spot on ($350.00), there were no attempts to "up-charge" the quote, and they were very careful and considerate of the items. They placed everything in the new place where it needed to go, and even helped assemble the king sized bed. Honestly, I was really impressed with the two of them. They worked well as a team, and were really a pleasure to deal with. Especially when they had to carry all the items up to the second floor of a six-flat condo, through the back stairs. As a side note, we got in touch with Low Cost through the recommendation of people that live and work in Malibu East Condominiums, which is a huge condo complex, like a small city, on Sheridan rd, north of Lake Shore Drive. They are well known in the building, and everyone there seems to like them a lot and speaks very highly of them. They've apparently moved dozens, if not hundreds, of people in and out of this complex. My experience supports this. We were relieved and happy to find Reuben and Brian and Low Cost Movers. I highly recommend them.
