We wanted to increase the light and sense of openness in our family room by expanding our single door to a double door.  This was a door leading to the outside, so we were rather nervous as the contractor would have to cut through our outdoor siding, our outdoor wall, and into our indoor wallpaper (and we only had a little spare wallpaper left to repaper the areas damaged by the construction).  We received 3 quotes, all close to the same amount, and this one was in the middle.  We chose Januz because he seemed to be the most on top of what had to be done and how to do it, and his references looked really good.  We were not disappointed.  He found a door that closely matched our existing door on the other side of the wall, and had the whole job done in 3 days.  His workers created minimal disruption (we never had an overnight without a door).  They cut the drywall and put the door in while preserving the surrouding wallpaper -- they only had to paper over 1 inch above the door.  And they removed and reused our existing siding so we didn't have to deal with buying new siding that would invariably not have matched.  They created trip to match the trim on or other door, and painted the door and trim.  All in 3 days!  They came on time and worked hard each day.  We would definitely use this company again.

We hired Janusz from a marketing call after being disappointed on several other bids to do the same work.  Janusz gave us what we consider to be a very reasonable price.  What sold us was his references.  He had remodeled a house in the next block and we were impressed by the work we observed.  The owner of this house confirm the quality of the work.  In addition he mentioned an architect, we knew personally, that he had work with and the architect gave us a good review.  His contract was straight forward and very understandable,  He was flexible in some minor additions at a very reasonable charge or no charge at all.  His subs were great and easy to work with.  The work took about three weeks and was only slowed down by weather.
