GREATER CHICAGO HOME INSPECTIONS

Corey was recommended by our real estate agent even though my gut told me to check "The List". When I asked him his price, he asked where the condo located and the price suddenly went up. Against my better judgement, I hired him. He seemed to rush through the inspection. He also didn't notice that our furnace humidifier was hooked up to the boiler. Our floors are heated, but he did no inspection relative to this. He said our toilets probably needed replacing, but they only needed a new part. Checking later, I found out that a condo report shouldn't cost more than $250, no matter where it is. Moral of the story? Go with your gut and check "The List".

Corey did a pretty good job inspecting the place I was going to buy. He didn't catch everything, and I wished he had put the pictures he took in his report so that I could have maybe negotiated a better purchase price. Nevertheless, I was pleased with his work.
