Cannot say enough good things about Fred. His work was of top quality and he saved us thousands of dollars in plaster repairs that we ended up not having to do. His advice on color choices was excellent and our house looks great.

It was much cheaper since he was the only one doing the work so the work took a little longer. He was here about 4 days to complete everything. He brings all his own materials and he was on time for the appointments. He did a great job.

Fred Fox did a substantial interior painting job for us. He painted trim, baseboards, crown molding, ceiling and wall painting in multiple rooms. We normally do painting ourselves, but were looking for a professional painter to ensure the trim looked really good. His work was done professionally and he is very skilled at his craft. Fred's proposal seemed very fairly priced and came considerably under some other estimates. There were a few items that were unclear in the original proposal and Fred accommodated our wishes and included this within the scope of work. He completed the project in his estimated timeframe and charged exactly what was agreed upon including actual costs(with receipts) for paint. He cleaned up at the end of every day and was as unobtrusive as possible while doing the work. We were very pleased with his work and would wholeheartedly recommend him. We will use him again for similar projects.

Spend hours on coloring sampling with me for free. Color choice and suggestion is beyond my expectation. His job really transformed my place. 3. Always on-time, efficient, clean up really well every day. He does everything himself, you can see the results as the project is going. 4. He also did some extra work,such as window frames and footboards with no extra charge. With Fred, you can just relax and the results are ganranteed to be excellent.

Fred was easy to work with and did an excellent job. He was prompt in responding to e-mails and gave suggestions about paint colors which proved to be right on. He works neatly and alone and was a pleasure to deal with.

He did what he said and was dependable. He went and tried to match the wood grain for the door to match the paneling in the room.

Fred was recommended to us by one of my wife's coworkers. We had just purchased a new condo one floor below our previous residence, and the color choices throughout were, quite frankly, the stuff of nightmares. After leaving a message for Fred, he returned my call within 24 hours and was able to schedule a walk through of the unit that weekend. He provided us with a detailed estimate within a matter of hours, and he began working the following Tuesday. We were able to choose colors using the extremely helpful Benjamin Moore Web site that Fred recommended, and each day, my wife and I would race home from work to see which one of us would get to see that day's progress first. It only took him three days to finish the entire condo (my wife and I spent two days painting a single accent wall in our previous unit), and when he was done, the place was transformed. The buyer's remorse that comes with any huge purchase was completely gone. A fresh coat of paint changed the condo from "the place where our neighbors used to live" to "our new home." I really can't recommend Fred highly enough. We initially collected bids from a number of painters, and not only was Fred's the most competitive, he was also the only contractor who would be performing all of the work himself (the others used apprentices or helpers). That was a definite factor in our decision to choose him, and the attention to detail that comes with years of experience is apparent in the finished job.

I had confidence in Fred as soon as he visited to give me an estimate. He did everything right! He was very professional, yet also friendly, so we communicated easily. He worked alone for 2 1/2 days, always arrived on time, helped move furniture, and understood my concerns. He bought perfect matches for the colors I needed and worked patiently to correct flaws left by previous painters. He cleaned up thoroughly every day.

Fred returned my call the same day. He scheduled a time to look at the two rooms I wanted painted - was on time and quickly emailed me a quote. He worked by himself, and completed the work in one day, as promised. He was easy to work with, pleasant, and most importantly, did a beautiful job. We will be hiring him again!

We were given Fred Fox's name from some friends who were pleased with his work. He came out promptly to look at what I wanted, took some time walking around with me to hear my concerns and then emailed an estimate. We agreed on a start date, he showed up on time and worked consecutive days until the job was done. Every night he cleaned up everything so there were no drop cloths, trays, etc. lying around. His work is impeccable, so no splashed or dribbled paint. I was having some trouble figuring out a color for the kitchen, so he gave some suggestions based on his experience and what we chose works great with the cabinets and granite. Fred is professional, thorough and a real craftsman. (Paint and supplies were included in the estimate.)
