DETAIL HOME INSPECTION INC

This was my eleventh house purchase across multiple states, and the worst one of my life. If you actually want to know what you are buying, do not use this inspector. My realtor Ashley Kain Silver who recommended this guy was also useless. I wish I had a dime for every time a contractor who's been here to fix one of the massive problems with this house asked me, "Didn't your inspector catch this?" Their incompetence cost me over $100K in major repairs. 'Nuff said. Avoid this guy, and if your realtor recommends him, get another realtor.

We had George from Detail Home Inspection do the home inspection on our new construction townhouse. We were able to schedule an appointment on very short notice. Very thorough. George was very professional and a pleasure to deal with. He took the time to explain what he was doing, what he was looking for, and made helpful suggestions while doing the inspection and in the final report. No games and no hassle. The report was easy to understand and had photos to document all of the issues. I highly recommend him.

George was expedient, detailed, thorough, and produced our final report within hours. Everyone that saw the report was impressed with how detailed George was. He is responsive and follows through quickly. I would highly recommend George to anyone!

Mr. Norberg arrived for the appointment in a timely manner. He was ready to begin the inspection immediately upon arrival (ie, he had prepared all documentation materials and equipment before arriving for the appointment). He was efficient and courteous during the home inspection. Mr. Norberg was willing to have us accompany him during all aspects of the inspection and was willing to explain everything he was evaluating (including an explanation of the tolls he was using to test electrical/plumbing). Upon completion of the inspection, we received a detailed assessment in writing of the property. **Mr. Norberg could have easily skipped the inspection of a small hallway closet, but his obvious attention to detail made him remove shelves and squeeze up a ladder to inspect the closet ceiling. Because of this effort, we identified a problematic roof leak. Had Mr. Norberg taken any shortcuts, we would have been stuck with a roof leak that could have become increasingly worse.

George Norberg was extremely professional, thorough and knowledgable. His customer service was excellent and he returned my calls promptly to set up the inspection. He was also very flexible in scheduling the inspection to meet my schedule. George was extremely detailed and thorough throughout the inspection which took over 2.5 hours. As we went through the house, he took notes on his check sheet and indicated all areas that were a concern. At the end of the inspection, George gave us a copy of that report. I was extremely happy with the inspection service George provided and would certainly use him again.
