DANIA FURNITURE COLLECTIONS

On or about May 29th, Dania delivered a chair, a bed, and two nightstands that I had ordered to my apartment in Chicago. As it was during  the week, I was at work so the doorman let the delivery people into the apartment and left. The delivery people  were the only people in the apartment that day. The delivery people worked in the bedroom to assemble the bed. When I returned from work that evening, an envelope  with $60 was missing from my chest of drawers. I know  the envelope was there and how much  was in it because I had removed a small amount from it that morning before leaving for work. When I reported this to a manager of Dania, she immediately became defensive and took the side of the delivery people against me! Never was any letter of apology or even sympathy sent to me; never was an attempt made to make my loss whole or to compensate me in any form. She said she had talked to the delivery company and they said the delivery people denied taking the money. Big surprise there!
Not only is it shocking that money was stolen from me on this  delivery but the total failure of Dania to take responsibility for it or hold anyone accountable. In fact, she denied it could even be possible of the delivery staff. Needless to say, I will never patronize this  company again and would advise anyone having furniture delivered from Dania to have someone in the apartment at all times while the delivery staff is there.

There was no one around to help with everything. So we went to the front desk and they told us who to talk to to order everything. They delivered everything and put it together too.

We were very happy with both the bedroom set and area rug. However, we did find it a bit difficult to get someone to help us. Once we decided on the furniture, ordering it from the sales representative was very smooth. We received it promptly without any damage or need for return. The delivery people did a great job moving in the furniture and assembling the bed.

Fairly well. I had to wait a long time to get waited on. The salesperson answered all my questions and the sale went smoothly although it took more time that I would have liked. The only things I didn't like were the extra charge for delivery and having to call twice to get keys for the credenza and repair of a light in the hutch. The light is still not fixed and it has been almost 2 months. I did get the keys finally. The furniture is well-made and very attractive. The experience in the store was a good one.

This store does have some really interesting products. The problem is that their service and delivery is terrible! They have very limited delivery into the city and have a high delivery charge. If they are out of stock and/or if they have to deliver from multiple warehouses/stores on multiple days, they charge you for the multiple deliveries (so it is their fault that they are out of stock but you as the customer get to pay for this by them charging you for the second and/or third delivery). I give them an "A" for their product assortment, and an "F" for customer service and delivery--they are quite arrogant as well. This is a good place to buy lamps, art work and other items which you can drive home from the store yourself. I would definitely not recommend them if you need furniture delivered.

I had been searching for months and at many stores to find four arm chairs for my mother's dining table. Dania had them and at a reasonable price. There staff was friendly and helpful but not at all pushy.

GOOD. DANIA HAD THE MOST REASONABLY PRICED FURNITURE THAT ALSO LOOKED GOOD. UNFORTUNATELY, WE DISCOVERED LATER THAT WHAT WE PURCHASED WAS WOOD VENEER, NOT SOLID WOOD, BUT I GUESS THAT'S WHY THE PRICES WERE LOWER. ALSO THEY DID NOT HAGGLE ON THEIR PRICES, WHICH WAS A DISADVANTAGE.
