Since the heater is very old, I am very happy that they had the expertise to keep it running. It saved me the expense of installing a new one. They were very nice and especially nice with the children, who kept peeking in on them while they worked. I got a great value for the money.

Boslough installed our heating equipment about 15 years ago, and serviced it for several years. Their workers were knowledgeable and efficient, and arrived in scheduled service windows. However, the repairmen must have been on commission, because every visit, I would have to endure an attempt to try to sell me a service policy that would cover the next year's tune-up. Then on a very cold winter night, we arrived home from a trip only to learn that the furnace had died and the house was about 45 degrees inside. We called for emergency service, but even though we had been Boslough customers for 20 years, were told that they wouldn't send anyone out because we had not bought their service policy. So we got emergency service from another company, and won't use Boslough again. Their refusal to provide emergency service when we needed it has cost them the opportunity to bid on the replacement system we plan to purchase in the near future..

Bart inspected my boiler and gave me a second opinion. The prior contractor during routine annual maintainance stated my gas value was leaking gas and could not be repaired because of its age and the gas value and boiler needed to be replaced at a cost of about $4,000.00 Bart determined that there was no leak with the unit operating according to specifications, and that my 30 year old system did not have to be replaced but perhaps updated and not on an emergency basis. The cost for the second opinion was $69.00 and the system can be updated over time for about $703. I strongly recommend Boslough as an honest and cost efficient contractor.

INSTALLATION DETAILS WERE OVERLOOKED OR IGNORED. POOR COMMUNICATION BETWEEN REP AND INSTALLERS. DID NOT APPEAR INTERESTED IN CORRECTING ERRORS. DID NOT RESPECT OUR LANDSCAPING.

THE DAY AFTER HE LEFT, IT BEGAN MAKING HORRIBLE NOISES. HE CAME BACK AND WORKED ON IT AND CHARGED ME AN ADDITIONAL $103. I CALLED BOSLOUGH AND SAID I DIDNT WANT TO PAY BECAUSE IT WAS STILL MAKING THE NOISES. BOSLOUGH AGREED TO DROP THE 103 CHARGE, SAYING THAT THE PROBLEM IS THAT I HAVE BAD DUCT WORK.

VERY THOROUGH IN EXPLANATIONS AND VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE. I FELT THEY WERE HONEST. THE SERVICE WAS DONE ON A RAINY/WET DAY AND THE ONLY COMPLAINT I HAVE IS THAT THERE WERE MUD TRACKS DOWN IN TO THE BASEMENT - BUT IT WAS NOT CARPETED.

THE PROBLEM WAS THE BOILER WAS NOT FUNCTIONING AND IT TOOK FOUR SERVICE CALLS TO DETERMINE THE PROBLEM. MEANWHILE THEY SOLD ME A NEW THERMOSTAT, CLAIMING THAT WAS THE PROBLEM. LATER IT WAS DETERMINED THE PROBLEM WAS WITH A WIRE. SO I SPENT $100 ON A NON-EXISTENT PROBLEM. ALSO, THE BOILER IS NOISIER THAN I EXPECTED.
