I had initially tried to find a small community bank to use as my home loan lender, but the bank I had been interested in working with couldn't help me since I was interested in an FHA loan (I didn't have a 20 percent deposit to put down). I found Joe's office on a list of banks that work with FHA loans, and I called him. From the very first conversation with him to our interactions on the day I closed, Joe was positive and sincere. He made the experience of working with a large bank like Bank of America seem like dealing with a small community bank. He always remembered me and my file, and it was clear that he cared about my situation. Several times, he had to run interference for me by calling other Bank of America offices that weren't responding in a timely fashion (I bought at a particularly busy time in the housing loan/refinancing market). I recommend Joe Richardson very highly for all your home mortgage needs!
