Awful. They showed up late. They did not have the parts they needed although the job was scheduled a week in advance. They lacked expertise. They were slow, sloppy and unpleasant to deal with. When I would ask for an update they would say "it's going". The owner said he would be doing the work he did not. He seemed to have to go to outside people for advice. After they left and said the job was done the boiler still was not working. It was not until the next day someone came back and got the boiler to run. He made up two impossible stories for why the boiler was not working (something from you chimney fell in and blocked the vent) (wind shut your system down) that were lies. Repair man did not know the proper setting for the boiler ( I had to tell him).He did a poor job of cleaning up behind himself and got dirt on the carpet. When I told the owner I was unhappy he stopped returning my calls rather than trying to resolve the problem in a timely manner.

THEY WERE ON TIME AND VERY POLITE. OUR ONLY CONCERN WAS THAT HE TOLD US HE HAD TO DISABLE ONE PART ON OUR THERMOSTAT, BUT WE DIDNT QUITE UNDERSTAND THE EXPLANATION. OUR FURNACE IS NOW WORKING FINE SO OVERALL WE WERE PLEASED WITH THE REPAIR.

THEY PERFORMED THE SERVICE THE SAME DAY I CALLED (A VERY COLD DAY FOR MY TENANTS). DESPITE THE FACT THAT MY TENANT (VERY HELPFULLY) SAID SHE THOUGHT THE ENTIRE MOTOR IN THE FURNACE WOULD NEED TO BE REPLACED, THEY FOUND IT WAS ONLY A WORN OUT LINK BETWEEN THE PILOT LIGHT AND FURNACE, REPAIRED IT IMMEDIATELY, THEN VACUUMED OUT THE AREA AROUND IT. I WAS ALSO VERY IMPRESSED WITH THEIR REFUSAL TO GO TO THE RESIDENCE WHEN THEY THOUGHT ONLY TWO YOUNG TEENAGE GIRLS WERE THERE. THEY NEEDED TO HAVE AN ADULT PRESENT. THIS CAUTIOUS APPROACH IS A DEFINITE PLUS AND UNDERSCORES THEIR UNCOMMON PROFESSIONALISM.

DAVID STARTED WITH THE LEAST EXPENSIVE THING TO FIX AND THEN MOVED ON TO THE MORE EXPENSIVE THINGS.
