Description of Work: I had a undetected water leak damaging dry wall and insulation. My insurance company evaluated the damage and "cut" a check, before the work started. Rainbow rep. Tom arrived ,evaluated the damage, and, set a work date. The work was done quickly , even though , Rainbow was dealing with the lake county flooding. I would refer this organization to anyone. Thank you Tom for your professionalism , and kindness . I think you know what i'm referring to. Your loyal costumer Larry B.

Tom, did an excellent job there was no mess at all or smell from the spray, my husband and I are now having a perma seal company come and seal the cracks found on the foundation. Tom and his partner will then come back and install the dry wall back.
Description of Work: I started a paint project in my basement, I then decided to remove the paneling out and noticed mold on the walls. We found Rainbow International on Angie's list due to their high recommendations my husband called on July 3rd and Tom the owner was able to come out right away on July 5th, he was very thorough, we got a very resonable estimate the following day. A week later Tom and his partner came and started the job they removed the mold portion of the wall and also sprayed a liquid to kill the mold from spreading, as Tom stated there were some crackes on the foundation.

+ -1 moreGreat experience. Had water in basement from a heavy rain. I was referred to Tom at Rainbow International of Elmwood Park. Tom was able to come out right away. He was on time, and really took time to listen to our concerns. He was extremely thorough and explained what he was doing at every step. He did find some mold which was not good news, but he reassured us that it would be taken care of. The day Tom & his business partner came over they got right to work. By the time they were finished the carpet was dry/cleaned & mold was eliminated. For no extra charge Tom also helped me fix a loose stair handle. Tom put our mind at ease, was an extreme professional and got the job done (all at a very reasonable price-worth every penny). These guys are good at what they do and are highly recommended.

It went phenomenally. Tom and his guy Lee both demonstrated the utmost in professionalism and courtesy. He worked with us on the price, too. At one time, Tom had just left (we live more than thirty minutes from where his office is located), and I discovered another mold spot. At first, I questioned why it hadn't been found as part of the initial sweep. But the way he responded completely put my mind at ease. He said he would get out the next day, but he and Lee actually came back the same day and took care of it. We were very pleased with the work Tom and his crew did, as well as with the price. Customer service is so hugely important, and it seems to be in decline at many companies. Not so at Rainbow Int'l. Other companies could learn a thing or two from Tom and Lee on how to treat their clients well. We would recommend him again to anyone who finds themselves in the unfortunate position of having mold in their home. The quality, courtesy, and peace of mind that Tom at Rainbow brought made the potentially stressful situation less stressful. It's wonderful to have the peace of mind of having a dried-out, mold-free home. And getting it done with a price tag we could actually afford was a huge blessing. Thank you Tom!
Description of Work: We discovered mold in the basement of our new home, just days after moving in. Rainbow Int'l was recommended to us by our home inspector. I called Tom on Fathers' Day, and he came out the next day (though he was willing to come out even on Fathers' Day to fix the problem for us!). As it turned out, we needed several spots of mold eliminated, which meant cleaning, dehumidifying, and removing drywall, all in way that would be safe for our family. Then he left his dehumidifiers for a couple days to make sure all the moisture was gone. Heavy duty ones. They got the job done. Then he sprayed to kill whatever mold spores may have remained, and to make sure they wouldn't spread through the house. He assured me that the spray was non-toxic and safe for our household full of children.

Our experience with Rainbow and specifically Tom was wonderful! He was very attentive to our needs as a family and he even went above and beyond when he discovered more mold and dealt with it as well! We would definitely use Rainbow again if we the need arose.

Description of Work: I needed a kitchen floor replaced. I called them because water had leaked and caused mold underneath my floor. They had to remove the kitchen floor after the leak and tested then removed the mold. They then installed the new kitchen floor. I am very happy with all their work.

He quoted the repairs and executed perfectly on time and at a very reasonable price. I would highly recommend Tom and Rainbow.
Description of Work: I am a real estate agent. We discovered water damage on a wall in one of my client's properties. I contacted Tom Heilwagen at Rainbow and asked him to evaluate the problem. He came out and with a moisture detector and camera determined the cause.
