The man was creepy, pushy, had no regard for what we were looking for in flooring. And the price was triple our previous estimate.

Lucas and his team finished our tile wood looking floors in two days! They did an amazing job and were professional.

Half a star goes to the politeness of the workers they subcontract. The sales consultant made derogatory remarks, kept touching me, tried to get more money out of me after the sale, and would not take responsibility for himself. I needed the flooring done and liked the product so after reassurance from a sales manager, I went through with the job. Spent thousands upon thousands of dollars. The product itself looks beautiful, but the installation was done poorly. Huge, ugly gaps left at every transition. I was told by their installation manager that nothing could be done. I ended up fixing some of the defects myself with some quarter round, a knife, and some glue. Pathetic. The sales managers seemed eager to assist right up until they got payment verification. Since then, my messages have not been returned and I'm left to fix their poor work myself. If I could post pictures here, I would. Do not go with this company.

The installation was fantastic, the installers were very good at what they do. We had one problem with the man that’s was over scheduling the work, we had our floors finished except for installing the carpet in the 3 bedrooms. The scheduler put us behind another project because it was a larger project, he actually told me it was a larger job than ours and he put them ahead of ours. I called the head office and actually spoke to a man over the projects and explained we didn’t understand why the scheduler put ours off for another project. Our floors were down to cement, we were ready to have it finished. He was so nice, had them at our home the next day or so and gave us a discount to make up for the scheduler’s actions. We felt that was a very caring man.

Installers did not speak English, so it was hard to communicate. No pre-walk through inspectionit or after- installation walk through. It was unanticipated messy installation. No follow-up from company.

They never showed up for the appointment.

I hired Empire Flooring-Jacksonville for vinyl tile flooring, we signed a contract, I gave them a deposit, the work was suppose to start on 8/4/2021, there was a delay from my bank releasing the money, but they did receive it, now it has been over a week since I have heard from them and they will not return n my calls

They had to come back several times to get it done, and now I am left with a trim, transition that comes up and moves. When they took my toilet out, they broke the flange and I had to hire a plumber. They did reimburse me for that. The installers did not speak good English. Will never use this company again and will not recommend it. I had to call several times before they eventually called me back.

They did a good job with the basis floor install; however, they were weak on communication, weak on detail work and they hired subcontractors to work on the projecT. the subcontracts did not speak english so communication with them was poor.

Do NOT trust or hire from Jacksonville FL. Terrible customer service experience. They were a no-show without a call for the first installation appointment. After I called them they issued a $200 credit and rescheduled. Less than 24 hours before the second instillation day they called to cancel saying the product was out of stock, Robert L. Empire came with the product we were seeking, the expertise, solid pricing and speed of service.

Empire carpet was not a good choice. They would not give me a price per square foot cost (carpet, pad or labor) only a cost for the entire job and would not tell me how many square feet I needed. I asked the estimator for an afternoon appointment. I was not living in my home yet and had some morning appointments. He said that would be fine and I would receive a call the day prior with a time. That never happened and at 8:30 am the day of the installation, the installers call, they are on the way to my house. When I explained the situation they told me they were 40 minutes out and that should be enough time for me to get there. They were rude and would not install the 2 rooms of carpet until I paid the 50% balance. When I called to pay the balance, I felt like I was bothering the man on the other end of the phone. The installers then proceeded to install the carpet but wanted to leave a one inch gap where the carpet meets the time so I could buy and install and transition piece. This would have looked horrific had it not been caught as I am not planning on putting in any transition pieces. I feel like this was overpriced and I was treated rudely for the price I paid. I don't feel like they valued my business, I was just another job. I would give them 0 stars if I could and would never use them again. I only chose this company because they could get me installed within a week and I was in a time crunch.

They were on time, polite, and clean. They wasted no time getting the job done. Very happy with the floor and the company.
