Lester is abusive and unprofessional!!!! I hired them to install new hardwood floors and sand my entire first floor and stairs. When Lester first gave the quote it was reasonable, but as the work started he tried to increase the money for everything. E.g. The stairs had staples from the carpet before, and he said it will take $200 to $300 more to remove them. However, he first gave the quote including everything and we made no changes or removed the carpet. I had to myself remove all the staples to avoid this extra expense. While giving the quote he gave us two options for varnish, oil based and water based and said whatever we select and there is no price difference. However, when we selected water based varnish, he started to ask for more money. After all the work was done I did call Lester to show an issue with varnish they put, as the floor wont clean-up. I called professional cleaners and they also mentioned there was some issue with the varnish. While taking the final payment from me Lester mentioned that, he will fix this by contacting the varnish company, if they do not do anything he will still get it done. 10days no contact, until I called him. He again started to ask for more money to fix the issue, and was swearing on the phone using curse words. He is highly unprofessional and refused to let me talk to his father, who is the owner of the company. Even his team who were working in my house, told me to talk to his father and not Lester, as he doesn’t know what he is doing.

I've used them several times for different projects. Always easy to work with.

It went great. They were on time and on budget. The crew cleaned up every day when they left and were good about minimizing the dust to the rest of the house.

Wesley's flooring overall went well. My main issue was that we would get a voice message every time we called and then it would take 3 days to get response. Their schedule was busier than other floor people I called and they couldn't come out until 3 weeks later. 
Having said that, they were $1,000 cheaper than the other estimate we got. They did a good job, floors looks great, and I would use them again. 

After arranging an appointment through an English-speaking relative, Wesley came to our house for an estimate and to have us choose a flooring finish. A couple weeks later, Wesley refinished the maple hardwood floors in our living room, dining room, two bedrooms and a small hallway for what we consider a very good price. Two men arrived promptly as scheduled, and began work immediately. The house was empty, so there was no need to move furniture. They worked quickly, and did a terrific job. I stopped by in the middle of the day to check in, and the smell of the chemicals was quite powerful. If you're interested in a "green" company, you may want to look elsewhere. The work was finished in one day, to our great satisfaction. The difference between the worn-out, dirty-looking brown floors in the house before the work was done, and the clean, blond maple floors we have now, was amazing. The floors are beautiful, and I cannot recommend Wesley highly enough. I gave 'B' grades for responsiveness and professionalism because communication was a challenge. I had to leave a message on his answering machine which was returned by an English-speaking relative. Wesley did the estimate himself, but because he did not speak English, communication was a challenge. He was very friendly, however, and did a wonderful job in the end.

We had been referred to Wesley's Flooring by Mr. Carpet Shop-at-home. We didn't know anyone that had used them, but because of Mr. Carpet's reputation, we knew that they would have to be good. We had gotten three quotes for the work, and Wesley's Flooring was the cheapest option by about $200-300. All of the companies had said the same thing - keep the natural blonde color and add two coats of the varnish. So, at least we knew that Wesley's flooring was in-line with what the other, more expensive place were going to do. Overall, they did a great job! We had scheduled the service to be on a Monday and Tuesday, but the Thursday before, they called and said that they had finished another job early and asked if we could have the work done on a Friday and Saturday. That wasn't a problem for us, so we went ahead with the service. They were there early to start the work (even though we said that we had another appointment until 10 a.m. on Friday morning, they were there at 9:30 ready to go.) Two workers showed up and briefly talked to us about the flooring. We agreed on everything again with them (the gentleman who gave us the estimate wasn't there), so they started working right away. Originally, they had said that we had to tape off and cover the cabinets and other doorways in kitchen. But since they were early, my husband and I didn't have time to complete that task. The two workers helped us finish this before they started sanding. They spent the entire first day sanding down the floors. The arrived early the second day to vacuum and put on the varnish. They were done by 2:00 p.m. The floors look great! There was some splattering of the varnish on one of the walls (hardly noticeable), but that wasn't a problem for us since we were painting the walls anyway. The smell of the varnish lingered for days, so I was thankful that we hadn't moved in yet and had another place to stay. The floors look great! I'm extremely happy with them, and we will definitely use them in the future if we need anything else done.

Knowing that I am an extremely picky perfectionist, my co-worker recommended Wesley's Flooring. She had previously used them on several of her rental properties as well as her own home. Lester stopped by and gave a free estimate one day after our initial phone call. Work began two weeks later and was split into two sessions at my request. The upstairs was completed the first weekend, the downstairs the second weekend. The crew arrived early morning as promised (they drove from the North side of Chicago to my home on the South side). They were fast, yet meticulous and did not take unnecessary breaks. When they completed the job, I could not believe I was in the same house! My previously run down, lackluster, and downright pitiful floors, looked brand new and expensive. Overall, I would highly recommend Wesley's flooring.
