Very well. The work was done when promised and looks nice.

Construction People made a higher bid but one that provided scaffolding and removal of garage door to make the entire process safer. The work was done well. Several days were delayed by rain and by non-job related health problem of a work. Communication about these delays were not very clear. But the delays caused no real problem. The work was done very skillfully. They also replaced a number of boards on the deck built by a less careful firm in the past.

Not what I expected or needed. I needed a creative partner to generate ideas on how to update and improve an. What I got was a computer picture of a kitchen. Home Depot does that too for the same price

They were very nice and it's easy to get a hold of them and schedule it. They came out and it was fine but it proved not to be useful at all in the end because we decided to do a complete renovation and we used different company with completely different design.

We use them a lot. They are reliable and punctual. They have good prices.

There were no troubles in scheduling. The man who came was very nice. After he came out, he got the design to us in a few days. However, he just eyeballed everything. He never took any actual measurements when he came out. He said that since he had so many years of experience, he did not have to take actual measurements. However, that did not help me. I had purchased this deal to receive a design plan with specific measurements so that I could obtain other bids.

The company provided me with the 3D rendering that I purchased, but they never followed up with me after the purchase, which I would have appreciated.

We did not like their work. They came in and had an initial interview. They seemed that they were already interested in what they were going to sell us rather than listening to what my wife wanted in the design. When they came back to us, the design had nothing to do with what my wife was asking for. We have not done anything further with them. They did not go beyond the big deal price though. If you do not listen, you are not responsible. Their punctuality was good. They did not come in and do anything unprofessional.

CPC provided both a complete kitchen and bathroom update.
From plan to completion we had nothing but a pleasant experience.
Projects were completed on time and in budget.
Workmanship was every bit of what we expected and then some!
This was our primary reason for choosing CPC for our projects.
We will be using CPC for a third project early next year...

I didn't end up going through with the project, but the drawings were beautiful. They didn't go into too deep of detail - they were more general. He ended up spending a couple of hours with us to get our ideas.

John Aniol was a pleasure to deal and work with. Most
important the quality of the work was excellent. His crew came as scheduled, on
time every time. His licensed plumber and electrician (father and son), the carpenter,
tile person and painter all did top notch work as well as keeping the work area
clean and as dust free as possible. There are a number of ways you can work
with John. I chose to use John to do the demolition and build. I bought most of
the hardware and cabinets myself. He included all the building material in his
bid. I bought some items online and some through John’s connections. I do my
homework when I decide what to buy and where to buy it. While Johns pricing for
his construction work was not the lowest quote I received I felt very
comfortable with him and decided to use him as his Angie’s List reviews were
all positive. I was not disappointed.

They tore down the old deck and replaced it with a new one. We are very happy.

I purchased a big deal coupon for this company. It was okay. We had another quote as well that we were actually happier with.

It went just fair. We weren't really too happy with the plan that he came up with. We chose not to pursue it any further. It was what he said he was going to do.

Met John through a referral window reseller that had previous work done by Construction People and they highly recommended because of the quality workmanship and attention to detail that CP crew provided. We needed to do quite a bit of work with our new home. The project consists of interior painting, installing/resurfacing hardwood flooring, renovating 2 ½baths, kitchen, electrical, windows, copper pipes plumbing, and unfinished basement. The whole project took about 4 ½ months to complete. Our home is so warm and inviting. There were challenges from start to finish but CP managed to complete the job. Our families, friends and neighbor compliment on our kitchen from a design perspective to the quality material that CP recommended and the details that were emphasized to make the kitchen functional and enjoyable for my family. There is undoubtedly no question regarding this outfit quality of work. At times, it was over the top and we wanted to have it simple. John's meticulous prowess makes him micro manage the littlies of details. He suggested the accent crown molding which was definitely a hit for me. Again no complain on our end as it turned out beautiful. One thing that we failed on this major project is a complete written proposal from CP as we put so much trust in John's word of mouth and that we rushed into getting the house completed. They don't provide the details so that you can cross off what's done and the charges involved. One thing I have say that there is a lack of total focus on sticking with the budget as we were way over our budget. After the discussion with John we did come to a compromise and settle on with the final bill. The question is whether we would use them for any other project….plausible however unlikely until they managed to provide detail proposal, and being budget conscientious in line with the customer.

We told them what we wanted the kitchen to look like. They drew a picture of it. The picture wasn't very helpful because we knew what we wanted. It's the nature of designing. They can draw a picture but we already know that. We expect that they did what we asked them to. It was fine. The space for the kitchen was not very large. They were pretty limited in being creative. It worked but we didn't give them that much to do. We gave them ideas of what we wanted. They drew a picture of it. They did what we asked them too but we probably wouldn't be doing it again. I didn't have any complaints. They're punctual. I would use them if I had a bigger job.

OK, John came and was very good. The drawing was given to someone else to do and communication was not good and never finalized and drawing not received.

John and Natalie brought great ideas to the project and the drawings gave us a great insight on how it will look. We're now able to make changes based on how our first ideas appeared and move forward to finalize a design.

I found that the person who came out thought very highly of themselves. He seemed to be more interested in letting me know how good a job they did, when in fact I was looking for ideas and a ball park as far as how much any kind of partial renovation might cost. They did provide some ideas. It was at a very high level and as such, he was not willing to provide me with any kind of price and I repeatedly told him I'm not holding you to anything, I just need to know what am I looking at if I were to proceed with this. So it was totally not what I wanted and after he left I said that was a waste of money. The deal was so that you would get some drawings. What I got, was an e-mail with very rudimentary drawings on it and again, not knowing what that would cost to do something like that, it wasn't helping me at all and so I never chose to proceed with enquiring further about having them about. Plus the fact that if he seemed more generally interested in what I was after as opposed to tweeting his own horn, I might have proceeded with contacting him again, but I just didn't like the vibes. The response was fairly quick. I kind of felt as though I was being baited in to having him come out again and at some expense to have him come out and give me more information. I didn't feel quite comfortable with the situation. It seems like he was more talking about himself than what I was interested in. I was looking for ideas and I thought the deal price was going to get me started in the right direction, but it didn't take me any further.

That seemed to work out really well. I liked the design they came up with. It was just really fast. I had that done about a month or two after I purchased the "Big Deal"
