Paul Davis Emergency Svc of Niles

Description of Work: While on vacation I had water pipes burst in my home. I hired Paul Davis and Mr. Cramer to take out the water damage, repair walls, replace floors, paint and general repairs. Mr. Cramer told me he would make my home like new and to continue my vacation. I paid Mr. Cramer and Paul Davis most of the cost to repair my home before returning. Upon returning I found problems and withheld the final small payment until the problems were corrected. At this point Mr. Cramer on many occasions swore at me and threatened to take my home in court. At this point I did an internet search and found that Mr. Cramer has done this in the past to others who challenged his poor work. After getting my insurance company involved (who did an independent inspection and found more of the same problems I did) did Mr. Cramer and Paul Davis back off. Mr. Cramer and Paul David still owes me money for work paid for but not completed

Description of Work: They cleaned and demo'd all areas damaged by our failed sump pump. This included tearing out carpet, base boards, drywall and disconnecting some plumbing. All for our insurance deductible.
