Block sat down with us from the beginning to set up a work schedule and followed it very closely. Block is a little pricey but you definitely get what you pay for. When problems came up, such as errors in the building plans, instead of pointing fingers Block's office staff and job site foreman worked with us to resolve them. They helped us shave down costs by finding creative solutions to upgrade our wiring in a more inexpensive fashion than our engineer had planned. Whenever work scope changed due to new findings (e.g., opening up walls and finding surprises), Block was extremely accommodating and reasonable with its fee structure in change orders. Our residents have been superbly pleased with the quality of the work that Block performed, and thanks to its expedience and professionalism they were minimally inconvenienced by the work.
