The technicians were really great guys, but I was not happy with the fact that I was charged $860 and they wanted another $1,000 to come back the next day to complete the job. That seemed excessively high for the problem at hand and the solution that they proposed was not feasible (hydrojet from the catch basin in the backyard, must be done so that the water is propelled into the sewer line). Two additional plumbers that I called verified this. "All Clear Plumbing" came out a few days later with a camera and cleaned out the drain and scoped it for $125. I did call Aqua customer service to express my concern and dismay but no one ever got back to me to discuss it - so here is my review.

This company overcharges client even by their own standards. their hourly rate is $192 and did 4.5 hours of work, charged me $900 but then asked for $300 more. No materials provided by them. Just labor. The original job was repipe everything and cost was $1800 and already paid $900 down before job started. Later they realized no repiping needed. The guy did a good job, so this is not a complaint about the quality of work. But all he did was cleaning off the rust deposit within the shower heads and replaced 3 internal rotted parts of the shower heads. Timestamp according to the owner Jim. Visit 1: Dispatch 9:32 am. Arrived 9:49 am. Left 1:00 pm - TOTAL 3 HR 28 MIN Visit 2: Dispatch 10:29 am. Arrived 10:38 am. Left 11:30 am - TOTAL 1 HR 1 MIN GRAND TOTAL 4 HR 29 MIN - and that is inclusive of travel time. - Multiply that by $192 should be $864 Talked to the owner Jim, he said initially offered $120 off. I said no because its even more than what I should be paying for. Ask yourself if you will be paying $700+ for some guy to clean. your shower heads and change out some of the shower head component while he is at it? Then he said "go ahead and defame us on Angi" - well...the truth is all the data points mentioned above were all from him!! The $192 (ridiculously expensive) hourly rate and all the electronic timestamps. I also had an invoice that state $300 discount only after I complained to the workman who asked for $300 AFTER I already paid $900 (Yep I have documentation on that). $300 was put in as "discount" because he called Jim on the phone in front of me to ask for "discount". ( Jim said he is only owner and the worker Ryan said he was calling the owner to ask for forgiveness of that $300 so interesting to hear that Jim claimed ignorance of that!!!! ) He got mad when I confronted him for asking me for an additional $300. I didnt see the point haggling with a greedy business man and I just hung up. So here's the lesson I learned: DO NOT WORK WITH THESE CROOKS WHO OVERCHARGE YOU!!! Now I learned if the original job is scrapped, ask for quote for new job. DO NOT just let them go ahead without asking for the cost up front. Thats the only regret on my part.

Aqua Plumbing did a great job with cleaning out my catch basin and hydro jetting my main pipes to the sewer. Would definitely hire again, and price were good.

I wish I would have taken the time to look more closely at the reviews. However, I was in a time crunch as my tenants only have 1 shower. They wanted to charge me over $500 to rod the shower drain. I guess they do pricing "by the job." If I would have been told this when making the appointment, I would have NEVER wasted my money for the "visit" as I already knew it needed to be rodded. Highway Robbery! The company I ended up hiring rodded for under $200.

Estimate ($789) provided was a complete rip-off -- $503 to "rebuild cartridge" for leaky faucet and $286 to clear the drain. We immediately sent them away and contacted another A-rated provider who came out and did the complete job for $147. Everything works perfectly!

I called Aqua Plumbing in the midst of a basement flood. Turns out I needed two new sump pumps. Considering the fact that it was pouring rain, I had no choice but to purchase the pumps from Aqua. After spending 15-20 minutes installing the pumps, I was given a $1,671.80 bill. The following day, I looked up the manufacturer's suggested retail price of the pumps that I purchased from Aqua, and they were $129.33 a piece. So Aqua charged me $1,671.80 for coming out and installing 2 sump pumps that cost $129.33 online. This was a classic case of price gouging. OUCH!!

Great work! The guys at Aqua were extremely helpful, courteous, and knowledgeable about my issues. They even came out late on a Sunday evening to stop my basement from additional flooding. Give them a try.

Amazing. I have to say, from beginning to end, Aqua made the experience painless. We lost our stove a week ago and are still waiting to get the new one. Paid a lot of money and the vendor for the stove (not Aqua) cannot get it right. Needless to say we were distressed when our old heating and Ac unit went out a week later. Another big expense and during one of the coldest snaps we've had. First call was to Aqua where I told them my tale of woe. Everyone, and I talked to a bunch of people like Sue and Mark, was fantastic. They totally got that we were despondent. They went to great lengths to find us a unit that fit our already strained budget and, worked to get it in quickly. In fact, there was one left in the Midwest so they drove to Indianapolis to get it. Saved us a lot of money. Looked at the unit online and even with the trip we were way ahead. Steve the tech came out on his own time to measure, grab some of the old duct work for the fabricator and even popped downstairs when I mentioned my house unit was acting up. Straightened that out too. All in all, I was ready for a terrible experience and even though we spent a lot of money we weren't ready to spend, Aqua went out of their way to be reasonable cost wise and exceptional service wise.

I thought price was on the high side BUT considering the circumstances I think it was worth it.

I had a leak under my sink. The first repairman said the leak was coming from the hose component of the faucet and recommended replacing the entire thing for over $600. He replaced it, but that did not fix the leak, which to me had appeared to be coming from the garbage disposal. When I got home that evening, it was obvious that the leak wasn’t fixed, and by then it was Friday evening. So I called again on Monday and they scheduled me for a couple days later. Fortunately, they happened to have a repairman in my neighborhood and he came by that day and put in a new garbage disposal for another $300 or so.  So while I am satisfied with the faucet, I’m not sure it needed to be replaced on an emergency basis. I would have rather had the opportunity to choose the faucet design rather than just get whatever the guy had in his truck. I also had to go all weekend with a big leak and had to get them back again to fix it. The woman who answered the phone and scheduled the repair was pleasant and responsive, however. I was not in my house for the repairs, so I cannot comment on this.  They did not leave a mess.

The service went okay. One technician came out for the job. He did an okay job. He was wanting to pretty much redesign the area the toilet was in. I was not happy with the quote they gave. The pricing was very high compared to another quote I received from another plumber. I was also charged a fee for them to come out for the estimate. I had no problem scheduling them out for the estimate.
