Mostly went well. Had issues with mess made and left in home during tear out due to inadequate preparation being done.
Company responded quickly but as it could not be until the next morning I did most of the cleanup myself.
The estimator and my spouse had different recollections of the conversation regarding the color of the cladding on the windows on the outside of the house which they replaced. In the end, we believed that it was obvious that the windows on the second floor being replaced would be the same color as the windows on the first floor of the house. The end result was that they gave us a couple of options, which ended up being that we had to have them painted later, by our painter, but paid for by them. This was a much more major issue for us and we did not feel this was the appropriate response to the situation.

The estimate was within reason and the service was scheduled at my convenience. The day of the work everything went very quickly. The noise was less than I expected and the repairs were done in the time frame I was given. I am very pleased with the work.

Salesperson was very helpful and responded to my questions and evolving requests professionally.
Crew started early and responded to issues quickly. A bathroom fan vent was placed closely to the lighttube and they fixed that quickly. They worked quickly and the crew was done with the bulk of the work by noon.
A carpenter stayed with the difficult light tube install until totally completed, hours after the rest of the crew was done. He cleaned up all the rest of the material and leftover equipment that was accidentally left behind.
Cleanup was well done and I found no nails but there was some old roof debris in the mulch, but nothing big.

Absolutely delighted with the results and the professionalism of Showalter Roofing. Jeff Rosier from start to finish was professional, on time, and accurate in his estimate. He personally followed up with me after they had completed the job to make sure everything measured up to my expectations. I was especially impressed with their ability to complete the job in less than 36 hours (due to unexpected rain) without compromising the integrity of their work or the finished product. Their estimate initially was a little higher than some of the other companies but after doing extensive research on Showalter Roofing and the product they were installing it became apparent that both were superior.

Louis came out and explained quickly and efficiently the quote and our roof shingle options. I say quickly because some of the other salesmen took an hour or two to meet with us and explain. Louis did not rush us but was able to explain his quote in half an hour. We choose the Architectural shingles with a Ridge vent. The crew came out on date scheduled, worked quickly and efficiently, cleaned up after themselves. Only found a few nails in the yard afterwards. We are very satisfied with the look of the roof. No cleaning gutters this fall! They also recommended and installed oversized waterspouts which have worked well. We have not gone through a winter with our new roof yet but so far all is well.

We had a part of our roof that had torn away/come loose as well as a couple of other soft areas and when Showalter Roofing came out to give us an estimate the week of September 3rd they found that it was torn down so that you could look into our crawl space. Paul, the gentleman who came out to do the estimate, told us that it would be a few days before they could get someone out to repair it, but he assisted with attaching a plastic tarp over the area, so that no further water would get in until they could repair it. They agreed to come out on 9/11 and repair, which they did and we're satisfied with their work and will use them again when we are ready to replace our entire roof.

Overall the work was done on time and was of high quality. However, the billing process was not handled in a professional manner. There was a communication problem within the company about doing a final invoice prior to requesting payment.

They did a very good job. They were prompt in providing an estimate and took time explaining what they would be doing. Estimate was detailed and broke down the individual items so I knew what each was costing. Once I decided what I was going to have done, they scheduled the work promptly. The crew was polite, explained what they were going to do, completed the work and did a good job cleaning up. I have been quite satisfied with the job that was done and have had no problems since.

The repair was scheduled for Thursday. The roofer showed up at 1 PM. He suggested that we postpone the repair for the following morning at 7 AM, since the outdoor temperature was approaching 100 degrees F. I concurred with his reasoning and request.
The roofer showed up the following day to do the repairs. He demonstrated good safety practices and tied off. He did the needed repairs per proposal. While the roofer was on the roof, he noticed a small hole in another shingle. When checking closer he realized that an air vent opening had been shingled over when the home was constructed. I was outside at the time observing his work. He called my attention to the area and showed me the problem. He called his office for a price, went out to purchase the air vent and installed it the same day.
The following two days were torrential rain storms. I am grateful that his observation averted a much bigger problem.
