I emailed 4 companies on Angie's List to get bids. One company didn't answer. One company was too high. One company gave me a bid by the number of windows I have and one, Pure Window, wanted to send someone out to do an estimate. The difference in the last two, and one of the reasons I picked Pure is that they were not going to charge for scraping the windows. I had a light mist of paint on the upper windows due to spray painting the house. I had told both companies that and Pure said, and quot;We always scrape the windows anyway.and quot; Though it took them 2 days to come out and give me an estimate, the guys were great to work with and did an excellent and fast job. The price was right in the ballpark and cheaper by $30.00 than one of the other companies. I think next year I will have them do inside and out plus the screens. They even took my storm door apart and cleaned it. Great Job!

Awful does not do enough justice to describe the service with Pure Windows. First, I would like to mention that they NEVER answer your calls, ever! I hired these guys for a very simple re-screen and fabricating 5 new screens for a single family home. They told me it would take 2.5 weeks, and I never heard back from them. I called them a month down the road, they said it would be done the end of the week. 6 weeks later, absolute radio silence, and I am still left needing new screens entering the fall season!
Bottom line, avoid this company and use Next Door Windows, they got the job done in 13 days!!!

I've been using them for at least four years. They are reliable, quick and efficient. They are a tad high but worth it because I know they will do a good job. They actually did some screen repair this last time and I was very happy.
