I had all my windows replaced the beginning of Dec 2025. The crew that arrived were punctual, respectful and very competent. I watched them careful and they were very attentive and dedicated to their tasks. Each of my windows has it's own issues but I watched them evaluate and correct all the issues they saw. I place my order in September and there was constant communication from the team. Due to a manufacturing delay, they stayed in constant communication. I've gotten MANY quotes for my window project. Now having seen the quality of the product - I'm REALLY glad I chose Opal. I have good quality windows at a cost I'm not mad about spending. I'm definitely referring them to friends, family AND people I like!

Opal did a great job on our replacement window installation. They were in and out in 1 day and even took down our window treatments and reinstalled them. They were friendly and professional. We would not hesitate to use them again. Good experience from start to finish.

We had new siding and gutters put on our house and we absolutely love it. Everything looks great and the crew did an amazing job. I also want to highlight our experience with Joseph Vanadia the salesman. We have worked with Joe a few times prior to this when he worked for a different company. Joe has always been a pleasure to work with. He is honest, professional, and truly cares about his customers. We were excited to work with him again. He made the entire process comfortable and was always available to answer questions or put us in touch with the person we needed to speak with to ensure the process was smooth. Process started November 3rd of 2021. The General Manager, Eli, came to the house and showed me all of the product offerings for a new entrance door with a sidelight and transom, a replacement window for the basement, and a specialty eyebrow window replacement in our master. I told Eli that I wanted one of the best doors they offer, to replace the builder grade door, and everything we are replacing needs to match the rest of the townhouses in our subdivision. Detailed quote was sent on the 17th. The quote included pictures of each item and the door showed the wrong transom window configuration. I was told that there was no picture option to show the transom configuration of 4 panes instead of 5 but he had taken pictures to insure the configuration will match with the existing door. I signed off on the paperwork and put down 30%. All three orders where custom, so the turnaround time was approximately 3 months and that also included some of there pandemic backups on supplies. In the months to follow I would receive a few automated emails a month on what to expect, manufacturing process, and what to do on the day of installation. The emails slowed down at the end of May and I finally reached out in April. The day I reached out they stated that everything was in and we set the installation date for April 26th. Opal workers arrived on time that morning and began the process. They started with removing all the old windows and door. As they unboxed the custom products I noticed that the door glass and eyebrow window glass were wrong. The basement window they were installing was considerably smaller than what they were replacing. I took pictures of everything and forwarded the information to there main office and received a fast response. I was told that the window inserts to make the configuration correct can be done after the install. The office manager looked at the picture on the quote for the door and stated that I signed off on 5 windows instead of 4 and I had to bring up the fact that there system had no pictured example of the 4 window layout but the General Manager guaranteed that all products would match the layout of the replacement. The basement window was installed and they used tons of foam and plywood to fill the gaps of where the old window was. I could hear the installers complaining after they unboxed the new window and initially put it in place because there was so much room on each side. If this was a custom measured window how come they installed a cookie cutter size that I could have bought at a big box store? The old window, without the frame, measured approximately 60 x 54 and the new window, without the frame, measured 48.5 x 48.5. This is the only window in the basement bringing in natural light. If this is a reasonable expectation then the sales team should have brought up the fact that replacement windows would be considerably smaller. If we were told this we would not have replaced the window at all. On top of the window being small you could see between the sliding glass as if there was no seals on the window at all. Air was coming in from the outside and there solution was to cut two pieces of thin molding in half, which did not close the gap. I was told that in order to fix everything it would take a couple months. I was not comfortable with paying the remainder of the $10,000. I wanted a guarantee that they would some how make this fix a priority, so we agreed to hold back $600. Two months turned into 5 months. The office manager called me once in that time frame and stated it would not be until September. It's now October and there has been no follow up. Maybe the $600 was less than what it would take to make the job right. For the first time in almost 20 years we have a gnat problem in the basement from that brand new Opal window. We would be better off just buying something to replace it. All in all there wasn't a single product that was right and the years of saving money to increase the value of our home was not what we were expecting. We will see if the pictures attached and review will get a response and then I can update it accordingly. I would be wiling to show pictures of the fixes and how there installers do there finishing work.

Generally went well. There was some delay in replacing certain items but the company assured me that they were working on the issue. They promised to respond to the needs of their customers and they did so. I would hire them again.

Replaced windows with Anderson 100 series windows as well as the siding on the house. Entire process was smooth and painless, Salesman was professional and not the typical high pressure usually found with window and siding companies. They weren't the cheapest bid but only slightly higher than the others. Overall, we are very happy with the job and feel that the quality of the workmanship and the professionalism of the company was worth the minimal price difference. I would hire again.

Gosh, where do I start? We had a complete James Hardie siding remodel, and on the one hand, Opal did a great job. But, dealing with their constant miscommunications and failures to uphold their end of the contract is just too much for one to handle. After investing just under $50k into this project, we were doing the final walk around there were some things that needed to be touched-up. When they came back to do the work, they treated us with such disrespect as if we were bothering them to adjust some things that the crew so clearly rushed on during the install. One crew member showed up to our house late in the evening, just before dark to install something and did not even call first. Then he knocked on the door and said: *Check* for the final payment. We were not tricky clients, and we were hardly ever around during the day. Towards the end, we got nothing but rudeness because they wanted us to accept what they did and not want everything to look like we were paying $50k. Opals staff will tell you things that are not true, cause a lot of frustration and try to hold you accountable for it. They will also mail your address on a flyer out to everyone in your surrounding neighborhood. So be prepared for strangers to be driving by - though they consider this as *marketing* - without your consent, of course. Would I recommend Opal? No. We are now getting quotes for windows/doors and a roof but with a different company - though Opal does all of this.

After a few quotes, hired Opal to replace our 10 windows with new-construction Beechworth fiberglass windows. Jason was very up-front and quickly responded to any questions I had. Work is in progress and they are doing a very professional job. A little pricier than I wanted, but happy with the crew and the job they are doing so far. Would definitely consider Opal for another project.

This company was so easy to work with! They did an amazing job on the siding, soffits and fascia of our house. The staff at Opal, the workers, and the sales person we worked with (Jason), ALL were so nice and knowledgeable. We are so happy we chose Opal and would highly recommend to anyone!

We chose Opal to replace all windows, doors, roof, trim work and gutters. After receiving several quotes we knew that Opal was the company we should go with. The other contractors were not as thorough in assessing our needs. Jason did a great job diagnosing some existing issues we had with water runoff and recommended solutions that the other contractors did not provide. Of the 4 proposals we received, Opal's pricing was not the lowest cost but if you want quality and professional work I highly recommend the Opal Team. For the entire project each team did a great job from start to finish. They cleaned the work areas daily and worked with hardly any disruption for the amount of work they were doing. Each team member from crew leaders to the support staff have been great to work with.

We hired Opal to remove nasty dryvit siding and install hardie board. It was a tough and long job. They replaced several sheets of rotten plywood. They were thorough and the work is quality. The crew showed up on time and worked through some tough weather. The kids loved having them around. They cleaned up after each day. The project manager was very informative and easy to work with. We plan on using them for windows in the future. We love our new siding!

I was very happy with our siding project. Josh was very impressive in his detail to help design our project, and he also stuck with us to help secure money from our insurance company. We appreciated his efforts to meet with us numerous times to help secure money from our insurance company. Luke was a great project manager. He communicated to me on the progress of our project frequently and addressed any concerns about our project immediately. This made the walk through a piece of cake. Marcin did a fantastic job executing our project's plan. He addressed any attention to detail I raised and also on his own. I appreciated him working on Saturdays to help finish our project in a timely fashion especially with the crazy weather this year. I will definitely look to Opal for future projects for our home. I was especially happy with using Opal for the first time and having my expectations exceeded.

Never have to come back, work was perfect.

Ryan (sales guy) was very helpful in explaining everything and not being pushy. We felt like he was trustworthy, unlike reps we talked to from several other companies. Because we signed in late fall, the scheduling of our roof replacement was delayed significantly by weather, but the crew that did the work was very good. They were quick and cleaned up well. We're happy with the results.

I hired Opal to repair my gutters that were damaged during a recent storm, when a big branch fell and damaged them. I contacted Opal because several of my neighbors used them for exterior projects and I was quite impressed by the end results. I had an excellent experience with Opal. I had an excellent first contact with them; I submitted pictures showing the damage and was provided 2 detailed options to fix my gutters. Opal came very quickly to repair my house. The technician who came was very professional and very nice. He did an excellent job repairing my gutters. Opal has been my best experience so far, among the various companies I have dealt with and I will contact them again for future projects. They truly deserve 5 stars!

Opal installed our new roof a week ago. Great experience from the very beginning all the way through completion. Excellent communications before, during, and after the project. I highly recommend Opal for your next roofing/exterior project.
