OLSON RUG & FLOORING

From start to finish we are extremely happy with the sales, service and installation of our tile flooring from Olson Rug & Flooring.
We looked at three flooring stores for this work - Olson Rug and two other very near-by flooring stores. The store manager at Olson, Lou, was very knowledgeable and helpful throughout - answering questions, making recommendations. Chip came out and measured and provided a free estimate - very thorough in his estimate, and very knowledgeable. He also provided suggestions based on his experience. One of the competitors charged us $50 to measure, and that quote was 25%-30% more, for doing less. (They asked us to move furniture and uninstall the shelving unit.) However, this estimate was also thorough, and the estimator was professional and helpful. The third company had higher prices for the same tile and less selection - we did not request a quote from them.
It was an easy choice to select Olson Rug, given the price differences, and our comfort with Lou and Chip - knowledge, experience and helpfulness. They seemed very much to take pride in their work and gave us confidence they would do a nice job.
The three installers from Olson were extremely professional. They worked from early morning until after 6:30 PM both days to complete the job. They were careful - measuring several times to make sure the tile was aligned and even. They were very quality-conscious.
The floor looks great - tile, grout, transitions and trimming. We showed to our family and they are all very impressed with appearance of the new floors.
We've had other flooring done at our previous home several years ago, from the third company referenced earlier, and, our experience with Olson Rug was higher quality and a much better experience by far.  We wish we had used Olson for that work.
