 + -1 moreI am happy with them. The manger I used was just fabulous. Every time I have walked into any of their branch they have been very nice, helpful, and accommodating. I really like them a lot.
Description of Work: I use Old Kent Mortgage Co/Fifth Third Bank for banking service. We had a problem where my husband’s email was hacked and there was banking information in there. His password was changed and they were sending out bogus emails to other people. We contact this bank right away. They did not charge us anything and sat down with us for two hours and went through the accounts. They opened new accounts and cancelled the remaining accounts and transferred everything over.

 + -1 moreI'VE BEEN GENERALLY SATISFIED WITH THIS BANK FOR ALL THE TIME I'VE HAD ACCOUNTS HERE, THOUGH A LOAN OFFICER OF THEIRS DID TICK ME OFF A HANDFUL OF YEARS AGO WHEN HE GOT REALLY RUDE WITH ME AND HUNG UP ON ME UPON HEARING THAT I'D TAKE MY MORTGAGE OUT AT ANOTHER BANK! STILL, THINGS HAVE GONE GENERALLY WELL WITH 5/3 UNTIL THIS PAST MONTH OR TWO WHEN SOME ERRANT CHARGES FROM SPAIN WERE MADE AGAINST MY 5/3 DEBIT MASTERCARD AND THE BANK BUNGLED SO COLOSSALLY THE CLOSING OF THE ACCOUNT, THE RETURNING OF THE FUNDS, ETC. BASICALLY, I WAS OUT ABOUT $1500 FOR SIX WEEKS BEFORE THEY FIGURED OUT THIS MESS AND I HAD TO HELP BY SPENDING A FEW HOURS A WEEK CALLING, FAXING, WRITING, AND EXPLAINING OVER AND OVER TO A DIFFERENT REP EVERY TIME WHAT THE PROBLEMS WERE. EVEN THE LOCAL BRANCH OFFICER WAS NO HELP AT ALL. I'M MOVING BANKS THIS MONTH AND WILL NEVER WORK WITH 5/3, AGAIN.
Description of Work: THIS BANK HAS BEEN MY ALL-PURPOSE PERSONAL ACCOUNT BANK FOR YEARS AND I'VE HAD CAR LOANS AND LOOKED INTO MORTGAGES FROM THEM, ETC. SPECIFICALLY, MY REPORT DEALS WITH THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE FOR MISTAKEN MASTERCARD CHARGES AGAINST MY ACCOUNT.
