Neotec Computer Inc

It was totally a disaster. They guy couldn't fix it. I had to take it to somebody else. I just took it in there and charged me $125 and never got it fixed. I took it to another one that I was more familiar with and they charged me $65 and got it fixed right. The guy was way overpriced and didn't know what he was doing. He kept trying to blame it on some other program in the computer. Obviously, he's not a professional. The other guy did it for less than half the money. I had top repeatedly call him back. It took him two weeks for a job that has been done on a 24-hour period.

Neotec is awesome; 100-percent positive. I have used them for multiple things for us. I used him three times this year and two times last year. Every time he worked with us he was able to repair our systems and recover everything. Service is immediately same day.

They were very good. The pricing was good. They were very timely and very professional. They were very knowledgeable about their services. I would give them an A.

Jeff was very responsive. The tech who cleaned up an issue with malware on a business laptop became unavailable to complete some work. We called Jeff. He was responsive and, importantly, set and met expectations properly. I highly recommend Jeff as a personable, confident, and highly capable IT business professional. Would certainly contact him again as needs arise.

Jeff came to the house at my request to fix connection problems with one of our computers. (Other computers in the house were connecting fine, so it seemed to be unique to this computer). He spent 1.5 hours and charged $150 for the visit. He said things were fine. However, the computer will still not connect to the internet. I called him on April 28 to ask if he would come back. He agreed, but said there might be additional costs. My feeling is after spending $150 for repairs, he should stand by his work and not hit me with any further charges. I would like a refund for the total amount. John W. Anderson Update: Several further comments: Jeff makes it sound as though there he gave me a special deal for the Sunday visit. Nothing was said about this. I called him on Sunday, he called back and said he would come by within an hour. Secondly, he did NOT spend two hours; it was exactly 1.5 hours since I was watching the time. Thirdly, after 1.5 hours, my feeling was he had spent enough time on the job. He agreed and said the computer was fixed. He didn't say anything about working on the wireless device. Fourth, yes, I did call him on April 28. It's absolutely untrue that he offered to come back for another $25. My position was that the computer was still not working properly, and he should return at no charge to stand by his work. Early. Amiable. Focused. Low-key. Excellent/succinct communications. Gets the job done. I would recommend this gent to any individual and/or small business to use as a powerful resource.

He arrived right on time and began the process of taking down the old computer and setting up the new one. He retrieved all my files for me. He also explained how the new Operating System worked in detail and made sure that I was comfortable enough to spend some time (on my own) using the new system and told me to call at any time with any questions. He was here about 2 hours and charged a very reasonable $150.00. I would highly recommend him to my friends and anyone who needs help with a computer. This was actually the second time I contacted Neo-Tec. The first time I called, he came over within a half hour and attempted to fix my problem. He was here over an hour and everything seemed to be fixed. However, I had to call him back and he gave me some instructions over the phone. When this didn't work either, he took over my computer and spent at least forty five minutes trying to correct the problem, which he did. There was no charge for this. On a subsequent call, after my computer displayed the blue screen, he told me it was shot. (This explained all the previous problems trying to fix my issues) He recommended a Dell or a Hewlett Packard and I purchased an HP. The visit on the 19th was when he installed the new computer.

Turned computer on - did not work. Jeff restored it. I am not techie enough to tell you what he did, besides, I left him alone to fix problem. I think that arbitrary DEMAND to describe details should be tailored to a service. Lack of "detailed" description should not stop anyone from submitting review as one sees it fit. Otherwise, you may not get a response at all. And, what if someone is not very fluent in writing/English?

I called Jeff at Neotec at 12:30 with a hard drive failure. He told me he'd be here in a half hour and beat that. He did everything he could to help me out.

My computer and internet was super slow. I called and he was the only company who answered his phone in person. Before Neotec, I called Geek squad and they told me their computer system was down(how ironic)! Neotec was available right away and it took an hour and a half to clean up my computer. He also got our wireless router to work and got our TV connected to the internet. He was very helpful. I will call him again in the future if I need computer help again

First, we have used NeoTec before and have always had excellent service in a timely fashion that we could count on to be helpful. My husband called Jeff on Tuesday night in a panic since his work computer had frozen. Jeff arrived at 8 AM the next morning, resolved the issue with the laptop, upgraded all the anti-virus software, did a complete scan to check for other issues and answered some questions my husband had about software. Then Jeff addressed my PC, also upgrading anti-virus programs, eliminating programs I no longer needed, doing a scan to check for other issues and generally making sure my computer was functioning at it's best. Jeff then hooked up our Google TV. Jeff is extremely knowlegeable, very friendly and is usually able to come out on short notice. I have recommended him many times to my friends and neighbors. I have his card under my mouse pad!

The important point is that the computer is working with alot less noise with the new fan. Jeff picked up computer and delivered it when the job was completed. There was a little bit of a wait on the part but my computer is working.

Jeff is very knowledgeable and extremely easy to work with. Once we described the issues we were having, he went to our computer and reviewed the current status. He really listens to what you'd like to accomplish and thoroughly reviews the system before making suggestions. He did not try to push any products or services in order to "sell" you more. I would highly recommend NeoTech.

The experience has been great! This is the company that I call for any computer problems that I have; we usually use their services about twice a year. They charge an hourly rate, which is reasonable for the quality of the job. It’s been a great company to work with! He’s also saved my marriage, too.

I was impressed with Jeff's obvious knowledge about computers, and the manner in which he efficiently cycled through & eliminated as nonworkable the usual solutions towards fixing an apparently unrepairable computer operating system, and managed to retrieve and save the important folders & files I needed by directly wiring the hard drive . Having gone through a number of computers, I recognized that this particular one could not, & should not, be repaired (all have a limited life & cannot be inexpensively & easily repaired), and that it was best to retrieve the important files that I needed, and merely transfer them to a newly-purchased computer. Jeff proved himself on an overall basis to be not only knowledgeable about computers, but professional, courteous, and prompt. I certainly would recommend him to anyone with such computer problems, and intend to use him again for my continuing needs in this area.

Quick, efficient and 100% complete repair, as I had hoped.

My computer crashed after being infected with a virus. I had family videos, pictures and work files that I now had no access to foolishly did not have them backed up. I called Jeff and he was available to come out the very next day to my home to perform the services. He indicated on the phone it would take about 2 hours which is exactly how long it took. Jeff deleted the viruses, cleaned up other junk as well as installed a new anti-virus and recommended a back-up system for my computer. He was very professional, on time and answered all questions I had. He did not try to sell me on any additional services I did not ask him for. I highly recommend Jeff at Neotec and have been referring as many people as possible.
