MY CHEF CATERING

We could not be more pleased! EVERYTHING, from initial contact, to meal selection, set up, cooking, serving and cleanup, was superb! Amanda was so easy to work with and helped with suggestions when asked. Chad, Chef Rosie and Jackie also exceeded our expectations. Great tasting food, wonderful experience. I definitely recommend them.

It went fantastic. My Chef Catering arrived at the venue at 8:30 am to prepare for an 11:00 am start time. Everything was done to perfection! They provided the bar, buffet, dessert table/coffee and set up the table and decorations. They even arranged for a large screen TV for NCAA basketball viewing.

The house was cleaner when they left than when they got there. Food was great. Squad was friendly and easily handle a group of fussy people at a hot humid and sometimes rainy outdoor Baby Shower.

For our quarterly dinner party we decided to use an outside caterer to prepare the meal.  Service was prompt, efficient and genuine.  The food quality was exceptional and the portions very generous.  When searching for an area caterer we wanted someone that was community centered and involved.  We chose My Chef as they were a highly visible business and very involved with numerous charitable and non-profit organizations in our community as well as the surrounding area.  With over 25 years in the business they must be doing something right and we were well pleased with our selection.

I usually don't do reviews, but My Chef Catering in Naperville deserves mine!  I had a Bridal Shower for my daughter at my home. I had never had an event that was catered before so this was a new experience for me as was having a bridal shower.  From the get go, the folks at My Chef worked with me and helped me decide exactly what was needed for my event.  I was so relieved that all I really needed to do was tell My Chef Catering how many guests I was expecting. They took the time to help me plan exactly what food I should get and the right amount that was needed all the while working within my budget. I am truly grateful to My Chef as my event was amazing and all of my guests were so impressed.  Not only was the food absolutely delicious, but My Chef set everything up and it looked so beautiful.  I had a great time enjoying my own event!  A huge thank you to My Chef!  I can see why they are rated the best in the industry. Professional and Perfect!

My wife and I worked with Sue for our party of 100 guests.  The service provided by Sue was outstanding.  She listened to our needs, provided ideas and options.  She also took the time to visit our property. She also brought Val and her staff in for tents and tables.  He company was also very good. Finally, the staff at the event (servers, runners and bartenders) were great! The worked hard, we're very responsive and good with our guests.  My chef did a great job from start to finish!  We will use them for all future events (big or small).

All done via email and phone. Helpful with choices snd portions. Left serving utensils in front yard for pickup the next day. Good food and all went off without a snag

Working with Susan was a breeze. The 2 person crew showed up on time and left well before the big surprise. Crew came back the next day when they said they were to pick up the supplies.

The associate, Sue, that booked the catering services was very nice and helpful seeing that this was my first time utilizing their services. She arranged for us to bring some food home to sample and pick what we liked before the party. The food was delicious and served hot. I received many compliments and one guest used them for their party the next month! Although I would NOT recommend the vegetable melange. The staff arrived at my house very prompt and got right to work. The server was very attentive to our needs throughout  the night, my guests enjoyed the bartender's services, she went above and beyond remembering my guests drinks and servicing them well! The one assistant server girl was fabulous and helped both the main server and bartender throughout the evening. However, the other server assistant we had (a young male teenager) was not helpful and rude at times. We found him throughout the party texting on his phone and hiding in the garage, not helping the rest of the staff. It was easy "to hide" from the work because the party was spread throughout the house and backyard tent. We later complained to the associate Sue and was slightly disappointed when her response was that she would "put in our file" not to request him again. Hmmmmm, not quite the response I was hoping for. Overall I would use them again, but certainly without the one assistant server! The party was a success :)

It was a little bit pricey.  We were planning a picnic out but a big storm came up and I didn’t have a Plan B.  The truck was out there and I had all these people and all this food in the truck.  We sat and waited and someone came up with a new location.  Their truck driver drove to the new location and he sat out the storm with us.  They waited patiently and they never put on pressure on me.  They just waited and served.  When selecting the menu, they came out with a sampling of all their foods.  They were willing to tweak the menu to make minor adjustments.  She was very concerned about me having the right amount of food.  She was very professional.

From the tasting to the day of the party, My Chef handled everything very well. The food was excellent, the staff was friendly and everything came together seamlessly.

It was phenomenal. The quality of the food was very good. Their wait staff was very professional, very helpful and very friendly. They had to set up a tent in the backyard and do the china, bar and tables. They did it all very efficiently and took it down the next day. They did a very good job. This is the second time we've used them for another big event. The first time was just as good.

My Chef was GREAT!!! They were on time, set up seamlessly both under and not under tents on a very hot day. Sue Jacobs, our manager, came out the day before to see how the tents were laid out and to suggest how to use the space between tents if it didn't rain. She set up for no rain, but it started raining somewhere around 8:30 pm. She quickly brought the dessert tables under a small tent. Then, as guests left, she asked if she could take down a guest table and bring the dessert tables under the big guest tent to make them more visible and accessible. I was SO IMPRESSED at her flexibility. It helped to make the evening PERFECT! The food was delicious, the service professional and friendly. I recommend My Chef without reservation.

We located them on line and did a search on the business. Found exclusively positive articles about owner, so we reviewed and selected items from their menu on their website. With the help of Sue from My Chef, we placed our order approximately two weeks before the event. On the day of the event, approximately 1.25 hours before the event was to begin, Katie from My Chef came out and set up the various food stations and food. The vast majority of the food was very good and plentiful. We ordered appetizers, salad and one main course. A representative from My Chef then returned the next day to pick up the equipment. The whole process went very smoothly.
