 + -1 moreCalled for estimate. They came, took measures, discussed estimate, and promised to send detailed estimate via email within a few days. No estimate arrived. Called back after ~1 week, and they promised again to send estimate. No estimate arrived. I gave up on the company.
Description of Work: estimate for bathroom shower and surround remodel.

 + -1 moreIt went really well. JLA's work was great. Things were straight. The guys were punctual and a pleasure to have in my house. They were courteous and had relatively tidy work habits. Still, I had to do some light cleaning after they left. We've gotten great reviews from our friends when they have seen the end product. We had one instance where the master bath shower floor was installed off-kilter and needed to be redone; there was no problem having Drew relay the floor. Where two showers had their bases caulked with the wrong color, Drew also removed/replaced the caulk without an issue.
Description of Work: Drew and his crew of two installed all of the tile in our bathrooms and laundry room during our home remodel. They tiled six full bathrooms (two of which also had radiant heat, the NuHeat brand) and did the back splash for the laundry room. They also tiled the fireplace surround and the pantry. While the tile layouts for the bathrooms were all challenging, the master bath and kids' baths had complex custom designs and lots of small tiles that needed to be hand-set, individually. Most bath walls, ceilings, and showers were tiled. The materials used ran the gamut from inexpensive white subway tile, marble, granite, and sea glass to stainless steel, hand-cast white bronze, and hand-crafted tiles. Further, Drew was able to offer his reasoned opinion, which was quite valuable.
