It went well. Gene discovered a leak from our dishwasher that was running beneath the flooring int he kitchen and made it too damp to do the sanding and refinishing. We waited almost 6 months for that part of the floor to meet his standards for doing the work properly, but it was well worth it. Another contractor might have done the work and left us to see the unfortunate result months later. Gene knows of what he speaks!

Gene's company had done GREAT work for me previously. This time my experience was very poor. From not calling when he said he would, suddenly wanting to do the job, not covering anything, taking food from fridge without permission, it was a :( experience.
