Our previous heating and AC guy had retired and we were trying to find someone we could trust and give us a fair deal. Jason and his family owned company - Four Suns Heating and Cooling Inc. - are the real deal and we're perfectly comfortable with them taking over as our new heating/AC contact. Couldn't recommend them any higher.

Our heater stopped working on one of the below zero days, and my husband tried to fix it as best he could but we needed some help. Contacted Four Suns and spoke with Jason who was kind enough to help my husband trouble shoot over the phone at no charge. We were not able to obtain the part we needed on our own, so John, the owner came out the next day and fixed our problem. These folks are honest, and trustworthy and we use them for our air conditioner maintenance too. Not many places would bother helping you over the phone-these guys are the best.

I have used Four Suns for my routine maintenance and because of their good service, I continue to use them.
When I presented this discrepancy to the company, they said that the $691 included labor (I understood that) plus lifetime guarantee and that the cost of the part would go toward a future repair including it would be reduced from the cost of a new furnace.
I told them that the cost was represented as for repairs not for all of this other and quot;insurance.and quot; I asked for a breakdown of the bill that reflect these over charges including labor. So far i have not received and don't expect to.
In either case, this company is deceptive and costly to deal with. i would not do business with them again. $500 extra is too much to pay for labor (2 hours), and quot;guaranteeand quot; and a discent toward a future purchase.
I remember at the time the repairman did not want me to get a second estimate. The other suggested repairs (new thermostat) was also inflated in price.
The company has refused to make fair adjustments on what I was charged. I know that when the house is cold, it is tempting to go ahead and authorize service. You are in a bind. I would suggest that the customer write an attachment to the job estimate asking a breakdown on labor costs and a separate itemization of part costs, and a stipulation that if the actual cost of the part is more than 10-20% less than the quoted price that the company would refund the difference. Ask for this breakdown beforehand. If they refuse, pay for the service call, and get an estimate from another company. Better yet upon contacting the company initially ask if they would agree to provide these breakdowns on the bill estimate. If they refuse go on to the next company. I would suggest that Four Seasons not be one of those companies you would contact, unless you are willing to pay double the true cost of the job.
