After my windshield met a flying rusted pipe head-on while on I-55, I called about 7 companies to get my windshield replaced ASAP. My insurance company recommended someone who's price was too high and I'd have to get my car from Plainfield to Oak Lawn. Other companies couldn't do it right away or their prices were higher than Express Auto Glass.

I initially talked to someone whose name I can't remember (I'm sorry) and called back later and spoke to Doreen. She advised me they'd get the windshield overnighted to them and they'd come to my house on Saturday. I called in the morning and got a time frame and the name of the tech who would come out.

Mike called in the scheduled time frame to advise he'd be a little later coming out and wasn't much off the scheduled time anyway. He quickly and professionally replaced my windshield and even patiently suffered through the inquisitiveness of my two grandsons, ages 3 and 6. They thought he was amazing.

Not only did Mike do everything quickly and professionally, he cleaned up any debris that was in the car. He even vacuumed up the crushed rainbow goldfish on the floor of the back seats where my grandsons had dropped and tramped them. Nice move!

I will recommend Mike and Express Auto Glass to anyone who needs a new windshield or even just a small repair. Their professionalism and sense of urgency on my behalf was truly appreciated.

They did a very good job. Express had very good reviews on Angie's List. The call center answered immediately. The technician came on time and was able to replace the windshield quickly. The whole process was very easy and smooth.

Went very well. I was going out of town and at the last minute needed to get this repaired before hitting the highway. It was near closing time but he said he would wait for me and stay after hours to do the repair.... That is customer service!

We discovered first thing in the morning that our garage was flooding after rain all the previous day and night, plus it was still raining. The cars were standing in several inches of rising water. When I backed the car out, I ended up smashing the back left triangular-shaped window into a corner of the chimney that sticks out over our driveway. Taped a garbage bag over it to keep out the rain. That afternoon, found Express Auto Glass in Angie's List, called them, and they said they could come out the next day. They offered several time slots and we took 10am-2pm. Steve called the next morning at 8:30 and said he could be here in half an hour. We said great, he arrived promptly, and in 40 minutes we had new glass. He vacuumed up the broken glass from the inside of the car, did a great job. Big relief. I would definitely use them again.

Everything went fine. I called them they gave me a price. And, it was nice that they had Saturday hrs. And they came out the Following Saturday put the winshield in and took about 45 mint's. I was very pleased overall have no complaints. I would use thier service again and again!!!!!

My insurance agent recommended Express Auto Glass, and I'm glad they did. It was easy to schedule, and they came right on time. Everything was done in a quick and professional manner. I'm very happy with the end result! This was so much cheaper than going to the dealer.

Shopped around for getting my car windows tinted and choose Express Auto Glass based on price, experience and Angie's list information. They completed the work in about 1/2 day. Tint job was very good and have had no problems after several weeks, they stand by their work with a lifetime warranty. The gentlemen that does the work has been tinting windows for 20+ years and was involved in getting the Illinois tint laws changed so that at least some tint could be applied to front side windows. Would recommend them for window tinting.

Everything was terrific from start to finish. They were easy to schedule, showed up exactly when he said he would, even called first to let us know he was on his way. The service was professional and done well, and he even offered ideas for ways to minimize the costs of additional work that would be needed.

They came out ot my house during the time period alloted and replaced the window. Everything looked okay but a couple of days later I noticed a few things wrong. One was a minor amount of localized distortion (Very diffucult to see unless seated just right) in the windshield and the other was that some of my trim was damaged. I called Express and after explaining the situation they responded with the following staement: "We will do whatever it takes to make you happy". They replaced the windshield and repaired the damage to my satisfaction. There were no boughts of second guessing, no claims that the damage was there already and absolutley no trying to get out of fixing the problem. The were great. They were completely professional and very apologetic during the whole episode. After dealing with them on this issue I would use them again.

Good Price, Fast Service and Courteous Staff. Windshield and new rubber seal looks stronger and better than the original one. I decided to go with this because of the excellent comments on Angies List. I would definitely use them again.

I called Express about replacing the windshield on my car (due to a crack) on a Monday, and they scheduled the replacement for the following morning. Their price to do the work at their location was the same price as for them to come out to me. (Score!) So I had them come out to me, which is a business where I work that has a gated parking lot. Their technician arrived within the schedule timeframe. He said the process would take about 40 minutes. And 40 minutes later he called me to let me know it was done. While giving me the final paperwork, he instructed me to not take the car through a car wash for at least 48 hours and to not drive it for about 2 hours. He also told me to hold on to the paperwork/receipt because the windshield has a lifetime guarantee for things such as leaks around the edges, etc. (not if it gets another crack, of course, but for issues related to the window itself and the installation). They were great to work with -- I would definitely do business with them again.

Called two days prior to the date that would work for me. An appointment was open at the time I needed, and a discount was provided for me going there, as opposed to them coming to me. Arrived, waited less than 5 minutes, and work began. Estimate work time was just over an hour. Out the door 1:15 after arriving. Would not suggest this method to get a clean windshield, but the work was well done and prompt. Lifetime warranty on leaks. Hopefully I will not need them again, but if I do, they will get the business.

Calls to several companies resulted in estimates in the same general price range. Express offered to replace the windshield at my home. Because it was a cold day and I thought it would be easier to work on the windshield indoors, I brought the car in to their shop. The gentlemen completed the work very quickly, treated me cordially, gave clear instructions on how to care for the windshield for the first day, and gave me a discount for bringing the car in. Unexpectedly, the new windshield is even better than the original equipment sun-tinting at the top reduces glare, and the wipers clear rain off better than they ever did off my old one.

I called a received an estimate over the phone. The worked was then scheduled to be done at my home and at my convenience. They were here 10 minutes early, and the job was completed in less than one hour. They left no mess behind.

Other places I called told me they'd charge me twice what they quoted. Then, when I got there and they saw the truck, they told me I didn't need as much work as they thought, so they cut that price in half. They found that the company that originally installed the windshield had done some things incorrectly, and they were very thorough in explaining what was wrong, what they were doing to fix the problem as best they could, and what that would mean to me in the long run.
