EXHAUST WORKS

Availability to get in to shop was very flexible.
I was greeted quickly and Chris got the car in very quickly.
After inspecting, he pointed out the problem (loose heat shield) and also pointed out the remainder of the exhaust system which was healthy.
Since the heat shield was not repairable/attachable (attachment bolts rusted off), he suggested an alternative to minimize heat without the heat shield (heat tape) and also discussed the trade-offs. Not once did he suggest any kind of costly fix, in fact, when I apologized for this not being a more expensive job, he indicated it wasn't much effort at all on their part.
I was pleasantly surprised when he indicated "no charge", even after me asking "are your sure?"
Although I hope I don't have more serious problems that need to be addressed in the future, I know where I will go -- Exhaust Works.

They were pretty good. My experience with them was very good. I had no problems. They were very fairly priced. They were very thorough. They showed me exactly what the car needed. They did basically what we needed. They didn’t try to oversell me a bunch of stuff so I like that. I would definitely call them back.

I walked into the shop without an appointment on a Saturday moning and I was given an estimate within 20 minutes. Price was compatible with others I had been quoted. I left the car and was told to expect a call that afternoon. 2-3 hours later the car was ready for pick up. He had the car up on the lift so I could see the work he had done (looked good to me) and he also wanted to show me some issues with the front end. He surprisingly made some suggestions on how I could have the repairs the car needed done at a reasonable price. I have used their services twice now and will continue to use them because they are honest and straight forward with their customers.

This type of installation isn't rocket science, and the parts were made to install on my car. They didn't have the precise adapter pipe required, but were able to make one out of stainless pipe laying around their shop. They even welded it together with the correct welding alloy, which is a detail most people wouldn't know how to check and many shops are unaware of. (The wrong materials will corrode and break over time.) Workmanship was good, everything fits nicely and nothing rattles.

I went there in the morning, they gave me a free estimate. This took about 15 minuts. I came back in the afternoon after they received the needed parts and an hour later the work was done for the price estimated. (Actually for a few $ less than the estimate)

We spent about $300 on that work. Their professionalism, service and clean up was very good. We probably won’t use them again because we had the exhaust system installed 2 or 3 years ago and had to go back because we had some problems with it. We are not too fond of whatever material they are using.

I spent just under $500 on that work. He took me into the shop and showed me what he was going to do. He had very quality products for a good price. I got a better product for a better price and they would get the first shot in the future if I needed their service again.

Exhaust Works tried to find exhaust pipe/muffler parts to fit my car but they were not available. (It's the H-6 engine) So he offered to replace the leaking joint by welding in a short length of pipe. As we were looking at the car up on the hoist I said I sometimes heard a clunking sound from the rear of the car when entering driveways from the street. He immediately showed me the problem - a broken sway bar end. They did the work promptly and I am very satisfied. They were very open and kept me informed.

Great job. On time. Excellent quality.

We have been using the company for the past 20 years. I refer everyone I know to these guys. I have never had a problems with them. Very personable. They treat every customer like they're real people. Great work and a great product.
