Dr. Robert Huvar

I came to Dr. Huvar with a complicated set of problems.  One of the reasons I chose Dr. Huvar is that he is board certified.  Most oral surgeons have not distinguished themselves in that manner.  I had two root canals on upper teeth (one on each side) that had failed.  The infection had eaten through bone and I had extensive infection in both of my sinuses.  Dr. Huvar took the time to consult with dentists, prosthodontists and an endodontist to discuss my case.  After all input, it was agreed that the best course of action was to remove my upper teeth and provide me with a denture.  Dr. Huvar discussed the options extensively with me and I agreed.  This complicated surgery, which included the removal of a large cyst, removal of open infection and bone grafts, went perfectly.  He has seen me three times since the surgery to check on healing and to adjust the denture. He is working with my new dentist and prosthodontist to coordinate care. I could not be happier or feel more cared for.  His office staff is kind and welcoming.
