Mike is a nice man but he is very forgetful and doesn't remember what he promises. He's a little scatter brained. You must have him write everything down in detail. He doesn't always show up or return phone calls when he says he will. His time management skills need improving. The work Mike performed was good for the most part. We wanted professional drywallers and the guys he hired were good and fast. This rating does not apply to the dry wall installers. Either Mike or the dry wall installers broke one of our light switches and we had to replace it at our expense. There were other minor things we had to fix. The biggest issue we had is that I did some work for Mike and he agreed to reimburse me for it but he never paid me. We don't like low integrity people. He is not a man of his word. He emailed me saying he'd stopped by with a check but he never did. For that fact alone we could never hire him again or recommend him to anyone. I found Mike because he was replacing some wood trim outside on a neighbors home. At the time we need some wood replaced as well so I approached him asking for a quote. After talking with him I mentioned other work we needed done. We ended up having siding in stalled on the house so he did not have him do the wood replacement. Only later did I see on Angie's list he has a few F ratings. Do not ignore poor ratings. There are plenty of contractors out there so chose wisely and don't take the risk with this guy. If you are in need of carpentry work we have found a good contractor. Try Accurate Home Repair. Todd is the owner and operator and his prices are very reasonable. We would have used Todd for this project but his schedule was book for the time we needed to have the work completed.

GOOD EXPERIENCE. GENTLEMANLY WORKERS & RESPONSIBLE WORKERS. CLEANED UP AS SAID. NEED TO BE MORE ON TIME WITH CONTRACT.

MR. DOLL IS A VERY NICE MAN. HE DOESN'T STRESS EASILY WHICH IS NICE TO BE AROUND UNLESS YOU WANT THE JOB DONE (A BIG ISSUE WHEN YOU'RE PAYING BY THE HOUR). HE DID SOME WOODWORK THAT ENDED UP BEING VERY WELL DONE HOWEVER ONLY AFTER CORRECTIONS WERE REQUESTED. THE FINAL WORK WAS MOST FINE. HE HAS A GENTLEMAN WORKING WITH HIM NAMED GORDON WHO WAS METHODICAL IN HIS WORK AND EXTREMELY CAREFUL TO CLEAN UP AFTER HIMSELF WHICH EDURED HIM TO US. HE ALSO ALWAYS SHOWED UP AT PROMISED TIMES. A JOY.

MIKE, WHO IS THE OWNER AND PRIMARY CARPENTER/REMODELER, WILL DO AS DETAILED AND QUALITY A JOB AS YOU DESIRE. I LET HIM KNOW BEFORE MY JOB THAT I HAD VERY HIGH STANDARDS AND HE TOOK THE TIME TO MAKE SURE THE JOB WAS DONE RIGHT.

MICHAEL DOLL HAS LOTS OF EXPERIENCE IN HOME-BUILDING. HE CAN OFFER ADVICE ON AESTHETIC ISSUES AS WELL AS PRACTICAL. EXPERT INSTALLATION OF KITCHEN CABINETRY, GOOD REFERRALS FOR TILE WORK AND GRANITE SUPPLIES. HE AND HIS ASSISTANTS ARE COURTEOUS, HELPFUL, PATIENT, AND TRUSTWORTHY.
