We went there because the price was low. We did ceramic tile in both our basement and in our bathroom upstairs. It's a big warehouse where you go pick up the tiles you want and then you go and tell them what you've picked and they load your car up. It wasn't bad customer service, it was just minimal. Their prices are really good. They were very informative because we had questions about the tiles.

The person that sold us the tile was helpful but some of the older gentlemen who were selling grout recommended some products for our backsplash that really shouldn’t have been used. And then when I brought it back to them they said it was our technician’s fault and not the fault of their product. They were not willing to reimburse us for the grout. The gout that they sold us only went about 3 feet before I had to buy another one and it was 3 times the price.

It was a very complicated order, because every product had to be practically chemical free. The sales person and I went over many different products, and he did much research on the chemicals involved. The sales person, Shawn Vargas. was also very patient, as this took awhile. I had already hired an outside contractor for flooring and other kitchen work, but I would not have hesitated to use Century Tile to install it. Even if Shawn was off a day, the other sales people and the manager were super helpful as well. I had looked at other flooring stores and departments, Century Tile had a wide range of prices, and their sales people seemed more knowledgeable and customer service oriented than the other stores I checked out. The selection was outstanding, even for such a limited product type that I could use, and I had the choice of many products that worked with my allergies. I spent $5000 on that service.

We have this wonderful sheet vinyl in our rental condo in Wisconsin and wanted to have it installed in my office. They located the flooring and had the best price of anyone that I contacted. Installer was excellent. When the carpeting was removed, we found that the entire cement floor had a huge crack and one side was 2-3 inches lower than the other side. The installer painstakingly patched the floor until it was completely level and then installed the floor. We were charged extra for the patching, but considering how much time it took, felt the additional charge was quite reasonable.

Choosing this carpeting was difficult because they had so many choices. Delivery went well after the company decided their salesman really did make the sales to me. This scrutiny came about due to some problems with the sales contract and copies not filed right. After their filing system was sorted out, delivery was re-scheduled, went without a hitch and the installers arrived on schedule. I had to be at work and left after reviewing installation peremeters and instructions with the crew. The whole process went well except for the heavy marks they left upon my recently painted walls and molding. Not just one or two light marks, but 15 or more heavier marks that over half would not clean off. The carpet had a couple of bad transistions at doorways (one cutting mistake into the material within the doorway and the other a cutting mistake transitioning around the doorway edge - left a gap.). Aside form all of that, the install was neatly done and cleanup was very good.

Chose this company's natural Maple laminate flooring (Pergo-like) after shopping three competitors. The price was reasonable and market competitive and the salesman was very helpful. After the expected delivery date passed, visited the store and given a bit of run-around. The salesman was gone (circumstances) and my purchase was questioned. Spent too many hours over the next few weeks either straightening out the order errors or their billing errors. In all wasted about 24 hours on extra work correcting their problems. The laminate flooring arrived, was seasoned and the install went well. Had a couple of spots where the gaps and fill were noticeable and missing. I could not personally supervise (work) and had to be satisfied with work blemishes as overseen by someone I left in charge. Other than some trimmings and scraps left in the yard, the crew was neat, polite and professional.
